hi, many thanks for this tutorial. I know that it's 5 years old, but i have a question ()if you still there) I made the tuto, with an editor utility widget (It show me a table of shots with comment and status), I've changed some widget so I could edit some value. I would like to know how I could save the arraysofrows with these modifiaction (coming from the widget) and how I could update the datatable ?🙏

Can you do a video on using blueprint interfaces? I’ve heard that they’re better than doing specific casting

At 19:57 you were just looking in the wrong spot :) you had your eyes on the Z Location, but should've been looking at the Z Rotation, which was just 1.59 degrees off from being perfectly 0, so everything was actually correct!

Just stumbled across this working with UR5. Wish I'd picked it up years ago to give you the credit you deserve. My biggest issue with all tutorials is many are "how to make a thing happen" with no regard to "how to make a thing happen in a useful way". This tut is a FANTASTIC example of the right way to do it. I'll definitely be deep diving through the rest of your vids. Great work.

Okay, i got a question for the door, i give you example there is 100 player in a same game in a real time open world, are you gonna tell the serveur to give the information of all client the door as been openned ? Or you can tell "if the client is at {distance} of the door then update client and give him the information the door is oppened" then you can save some ressource ?

I know this video is 3 years old, but it seems really helpful. Can we use this to have certain enemies avoid certain areas? Example: Hot panels on the floor. Player can run over them, and basic enemies can run over them. both taking damage, but I want to also have a smarter enemy, that avoids these zones, and will go around. The nav mesh seems to only be an all or nothing deal, so this seems in the right area. would this work for what I am I going for?

Thank you so much Casey, this was really helpful, Imma watch the other mastering blueprints parts. Explaining the forward vector as an offset that needed to be added on the actor location, that part really sticks.

This is really helpful to me dude... what i really want is the ability to translate my ideas, whatever they are, into the game. This is right to the point.

I had some experience with C# and Unity but I'm new to Unreal Engine. And this video helped me to understand how to work on blueprints in a similar way to coding, like how they converted it.

Casey, you have phenomenal pacing. You have clear explanations and you give proper examples in all the tutorials I've seen. Have you thought about selling courses on sites like Udemy? Got any plans with the channel to add more tutorials? Any books/sources you recommend? Would just love to see more from you. Thanks for everything!

I wonder if you could use the CS for stuff like vehicle customization? If I have 3 different rims, could I theoretically use the CS to change the bone of a skeletal mesh?
