Hi mate, Great video thanks. I have just bought the same welder second hand. A couple of questions . Do you have a copy of the manual that came with it, I have been trying to source one but without success. If you do would you be kind enough to send me a photo/ scan of some of the important pages. I see you have the TIG torch plugged into the RHS which on my machine is +. I thought, but I may be wrong you normally put the torch into - for TIG welding, but your machine may be different, Also I have seen a post which stated the polarity was wrong on these machines. :)

It was explained and shown in the video. But in saying this, this was my first time doing a carbon seal replacement. It’s more common sense on what you need to do but requires a few key steps. I appreciate your comment though

It was filtered through and also had a filter in the gun. The problem was I left the paint in the gun for too long between Coats and it started to harden. Just clogged the filter up in the gun.

Hey buddy, most of it comes down to preference and trying new things I guess. But a brief run of what I do is. Use a Number 5 cup at 10-15 cfm for aluminium 8mm stick out. Make sure the leads are in correct polarity also haha Set the post flow around 0.5-1 second and about the same for pre flow. If using 2mm aluminium. You’d probably start off around 40amps and work from that. Just see how the puddle looks and how long it takes to start the weld. Best to practice on some scrap first or even practice on some mild steel. Steel is a lot more easier to weld to learn. I hope that helps a little bit mate

I think it’s more the fact that the Americans have the no prep game down. And I believe the traction control makes a huge difference. Most of the American guys use traction control. Aussies use BIG HP but can’t keep traction Thanks only my opinion though

Hey Scott, shouldn’t have any problems. From my understanding is that it doesn’t change the suspension geometry. It basically acts like a body mount lift. The only time you would have cv issues is with big suspension lifts
