I have just bought the same giants tig any hints on settings would be awesome bought it to weld 2 mm ally checker plate nice job on cube little grind and be perfect

Hey buddy, most of it comes down to preference and trying new things I guess. But a brief run of what I do is. Use a Number 5 cup at 10-15 cfm for aluminium 8mm stick out. Make sure the leads are in correct polarity also haha Set the post flow around 0.5-1 second and about the same for pre flow. If using 2mm aluminium. You’d probably start off around 40amps and work from that. Just see how the puddle looks and how long it takes to start the weld. Best to practice on some scrap first or even practice on some mild steel. Steel is a lot more easier to weld to learn. I hope that helps a little bit mate
