She smiles without evilness, that’s the only problem, other than that she has perfect lines, and quite good technique
@karensantos54213 жыл бұрын
I think she would've done better with Odette variation, Odille requires more strength, more sharpness, and more character. Technique wise, she's okay, just needs more strengthening to be more stable.

Amazing and nailed every single move, but she needs more expression, she needs to add more feeling

Arms are beautiful, she did really well. But remember Odille is impact, gotta put energy on her, stare at the audience.

i honestly cant believe what people are saying! she is a beautiful dancer and i didn't see anything wrong. everyone in the dance world has room to improve and that's why dance is so enjoyable! She has beautiful lines and technique

Hey guys, for everyone in the comments it's a great thing to give critiques, however it's not okay to bring someone down whilst doing so. Being respectful is key and I definitely think it is unheard of to just say "you can't do it" or "ugh bad". No dancer is perfect and obviously she had some faults but no need to beat her down for them.

She's beautiful. ...like her dance!

You seem to have improved, looking back at the black swan variation! A little bit more 'fire' and 'expanding' would've been good, but you did very good, regardless. Are you still dancing?

Thank you for the compliment! I am not dancing professionally anymore. I still enjoy ballet and occasionally practice, but I am now pursuing new ventures.

Paula Rocha she’s young and it’s a competition, so she’s probably nervous. But she has beautiful lines and long legs and neck and arms, she will be a good swan someday, I think
@zumzin31196 жыл бұрын
boring, no fire, no emotion, arms like woods, she moves heavy...look at russian and you will see the true balet
@Tuesdaymayhew6 жыл бұрын
Looking back on this now, I can agree that my character was soft. I didn't realize until seeing the video after the competition, that I needed a lot more expression. This variation was very difficult for me as I was not in the best shape and was unable to dance full time. If you haven't, see Zakharova's Black Swan variation for an amazing portrayal of the character. As for looking at Russian Ballet for true ballet, I am primarily Vaganova trained.

Price of which will be approximately £37:00 - which has a lot of rare tracks that they have written for other famous Musicians included in this box set. Hope this might be of help.

KHeartsdiva54321 not everyone is a turner. maybe she she was nervous or off
@Tuesdaymayhew6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the compliments. I was actually a turner but had a lack of stamina at this point in my career. I think the Paquita variation that I have posted was better for me (a little behind the music in that one but still better). Unfortunately, for this Black Swan variation, my rehearsal went much better than the competition (particularly the beginning). I am still proud that I had the chance to perform it.

Pretty.. But she I never feel like she has a period at the end of a phrase. She doesn't pause long enough sometimes and it takes away from her line that she creates and it doesn't allow the viewer to appreciate it.

Can't get over the choreography, to be able to design a comparatively modern, Western dance (i.e. ballet) around a story, music and choreography from an ancient Eastern culture, and to do it with so much energy, beauty and grace, you all must be uniquely talented, and gifted. BRAVO! And thanks for sharing this with the world. (I am sharing this with the teachers at our dance school here in MA).

Great effort by the ballet dancers (lets not forget that they have no clue about the lyrics and they only dance to the tone of music rather then the mood of the lyrics).
