Lived in PHOENIX in 2010 I worked outside doing security and never sweat in the summer, is very dry NO comparison, I'd take Phoenix any day ! WHO wants cold and humid Charlotte ?

Humidity is certainly a thing, but we do have the ability to go outside all summer and all winter long (vs the extreme heat of AZ). BUT the beauty is both climates exist in the US so everyone gets what they love

ewwww yesss I have seen those Centipedes yuck... I think it's how they move that creep me out. Hmm I do know NC income tax is going to 3.99% by 2025, but not sure about 0.... but I'm here for it!!!! And ty for always watching and engaging :) Have a kick ass week!

Charlotte wins over Phoenix hands down. The weather here in Gilbert, AZ is awful compared to Mooresville, from the end of April to the end of October it's gross and it smells like stagnate sewer gas. The water is hard and the shower pressure is always bad. It seems like a trap don't move to Phoenix. More and more people are moving here and there isn't enough water. If you like seasons stay in CLT, if you like dust and dirt move to PHX. If you like to drive 85 mph on every highway move to PHX. If you like poor public transportation live in either city because; like Bill Gates says "people like driving their cars to work". The only thing going for the cities around PHX are the public playgrounds they are amazing compared to anything the rich kids in CLT have, the only kicker is they can't be used half of the year because it's HOT as hell and it sucks. Sure NC is hot and humid but you can touch things, in AZ if you touch stuff you get burnt... our kids class room doors have pool noodles cut to fit around the handles. :0 Long story short we'll be moving from PHX back to the east coast.

O MY GOSH! I had no idea about the pool noodles, it makes so much sense. I have seen out that way the schools are open air, probably because it never really rains. So crazy! You are spot on with ALL of these points for sure! Have you lived in Mooresville before and looking to head back this way from AZ? I will say PHX has some great social aspects like shopping, food, etc, but I do love the ability to go outside year round vs half the year lol Ty for watching and your comments!

Meck and Union are a bit different. Meck is 0.4381 (or $0.43 cents per 100sf) and Union is 0.5880.

@@john78lewis yes sf for that. for cars and boats ther is a tax as well but honestly i'm not certain what it is. I belive if your vehicle is about $30,000 the tax would be about $400

Thinking about moving to Charlotte. Decided against South Carolina due to vehicle tax each and every year, based on the current market value of your vehicle. Our 2022 Accord tax would be about $1500 per year. We live in Florida currently and we pay about $65 year per vehicle.

Sadly we do have vehicle tax here as well. I'm not a fan but the rate is certainly lower than SC
