Many Brits say kin-ga for king or talkin-ga for talking. Listen to Paul McCartney for a few minutes.

Hmmm ... # of Big Ten titles won - zero (0); # of Big Ten tournament championships won - zero (0); # of NCAA tournament championships - zero (0), not even a measly NIT title. Alot of flap, smack, strutz, ink, noise, et al. And nothing to show for it. And Weber won't even come near it or have anything to do with it. Probably wishes he'd played somewhere else ... that's part of this story, too, whether anyone cares to admit it. This is just the arrogance and presumptive attitude of a self-satisfied institution. One can tell the state of current undergraduate education when they begin to intellectualuze everything. This is nothing but bald faced celebrity worship. 😮

Webber was getting 200k. Illegal? Rose was getting 150k. That's how they assembled that team. 10 I% Facts. Hey Michigan? Tare that Banner down. A disgrace to College basketball.😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

One should NOT say "ay pencil." The indefinite article is pronounced "uh." Look it up in any dictionary.

Do you think that mastodons could stand on their hind legs? I imagine that they wouldn’t have much need and they are more solid than the mammoths

It is such a shame what a mess the leadership of the University and the state of Michigan have made of the cost of studying at UM. I studied there in the 1970s, and my yearly in state tuition was number if the HUNDREDS of dollars. Not thousands. And, in those days Michigan was actually rated much higher among American universities than it is today. If I recall correctly, Michigan and Berkeley were regularly ranked among the top ten schools in the U.S. and often in the top five, right after Harvard, Yale, Princeton... Now, I think it is much further down the line. I don't know how the university and the state of Michigan managed to screw up the public financing of this public university so badly that it is partly financed by a huge amount of PRIVATE debt, not even public debt, which would be bad enough. It's a crying shame.

Just curious what FARAZ HASSAN means when he said he’s interested in Geo-Politics? As an alum I’m concerned with the political situation going on in Michigan.

When ppl say they underachieved, theycant forget that their best player was there( Webber) for 2 years. When you compare them to UNLV, remember UNLV was MUCH older. Larry Johnson arrived at UNLV at 20. Webber" left" Michigan at 20. If those guys were there 4 years, ppl would have forgot about UNLV.

You only have to view some of the videos on KZbin either close to shore or around the coral reefs and it's easy to see that fish stocks are declining at an alarming rate and when our oceans are devoid of life because of the greed of those countries who take far too much like China for instance then what will be the state of our world because it seems to me that people just don't seem to care

Both Professor Williams and I have been deeply moved by the Catholic Bible's Book of Wisdom, Ch. 11, verses 22-26 and Ch. 12, verse 1. I had an epiphany that this beautiful excerpt is God's real endgame for humanity.

Excellent summary of what graduate students work on in the LSA chemistry department. My granddaughter is studying chemical engineering at UMich College of Engineering. Obviously lots of overlap, but as an engineer the focus is not only developing new materials, but also applications of these materials in industrial, medical and other areas.
