You should do Absolute Hulk next. I think it would be cool if we sort of swapped the roles of Bruce and Hulk. In that Bruce is the angry and sad one, struggling in life and with himself. And you could make Hulk a calm pacifist, who avoids fighting wherever he can. I think the dynamic between two characters like these could be very interesting. Have the origin be less selfless too. Originally, Bruce became Hulk in an accident where he attempted to save someone, without thinking of himself. Maybe in this universe, HE could have been the one being saved, and has to deal with survivor’s guilt

Yeah, total garbage take on him. What drove me the most nuts is in the comics they give Ultron robot like font to show he sounds robotic. James Spader was one of the worst choices I can think of for his voice. Just terrible

Honestly what would be interesting for Absolute War Machine would be if his suit comes from repairing one of the damaged suits iron man ditches, and then uses it to try to stop iron man. However, James Rhodes is still friends with Tony Stark in this universe, meaning they're friends as their secret identities but their superhero alter-egos are enemies.

I know it's unlikely but I want the Deep to survive season 5 as well. Maybe he'll lose his powers from Soldier Boy's radiation blast and The Boys will be like "Well he's still an awful person... but he's dumb and he doesn't have any powers so we'll let him live I guess". Either that or he just escapes into the ocean never to be seen again

My idea for an absolute Captain America is a world where the superhero is more of an idea. Let’s just say in this universe, during WW2, Americans are losing hope. People stop seeing the point in signing up to fight. The draft is the only thing bringing in new soldiers and even then, people are almost revolting. Seeing that America is almost completely uninterested in fighting, someone hatches an idea. What if we make up a superhero. In this world Captain America still starts off as the weak skinny kid from Brooklyn. But instead of giving Steve a real super soldier serum, they lie. They train Steve to be at peak human physicality sure, they give him a suit that’s bullet proof, they give him the shield, but the “super serum” is just a placebo. By giving Americans the idea that they created the first super soldier, it gives them hope, it’s makes people want to join the fight.

If you take away Captain America's patriotism, but kept the super soldier serum the same, I actually think what you end up with is a terrorist. Steve Rogers, the end of WWII, and what we do... we don't lose Bucky, we never go into cryo. He does from fighting for freedom and democracy, and instead he survives into the Cold War era, and he gets to personally witness the red scare. Not just the red scare, but watches as Bucky gets dragged away under suspected Communist ties, and then brainwashed not into the Winter Soldier, but into "The Patriot", a living weapon for the United States. Captain America, watching this happen, becomes not only opposed to his own government, as he has in the past, but forms his own organized group to oppose it. The hero of WWII, who fought the Nazis, then fought the Commies, realizes just how absolutely twisted the nation he fights for is, and unlike the mainline comics where he always comes back to being the public hero and on good terms, this time he doesn't. After defeating the USSR in the 60s, it's not the 70s and Cap is on the side of the global resistance to American hegemony, fighting those on the side of America like the newly emerged Iron Man, an icon of the military industrial complex, or perhaps allying himself with remnants of the same USSR he helped to topple in the form of Black Widow. It can serve as both a deep dive exploration into Captain America, but also as a deep critique of American Empire.

I want to add to this idea, because I love it, but I don't think you even need to prevent other superheroes from existing; by giving Captain America this, supreme power, you've essentially turned him into a Superman of Marvel comics. Sure, other heroes might exist, Thor is still around, Iron Man may still become a thing, and I think the Avengers may form much sooner, but centered around Captain America, and his goals to make a better world. I can see this version of Captain America struggling with the fact he has all of this power, and balancing just how much he should use it. After all, the Nazis needed to be stopped, but what about the USSR? What about when America needs to be stopped? I think this Captain America comes to embody an icon for the human race, something greater to aspire to, the god who was once a man. This even becomes a question of "Should humanity even ascend to this point?" Lots of fun stories to explore here, and scenarios to explore exactly what a perfect world looks like, according to Captain America. However, this ends up just feeling like a power buff, not some kind of Absolute version.

In Amazing Fantasy #15, Uncle ben never said those words. It was Peter who learned it on his own from the death of Uncle Ben. Itvwas the 90's Cartoon that first brought this idea and it has stuck ever since. Making Uncle Ben the person who told peter those Iconic words. The original line that peter said in the Pages of Amazing FANTASY #15 was "with great power, there must also come great responsibility. Which was later shortened by The 90's cartoon to "with great power, comes great responsibility.

I’ve actually been concepting my own Spider-Man story and it’s kind of like an absolute Spider-Man. I’ve been concepting it before the new ultimate and absolute were announced. I’m not taking 100% credit for the concept though, but it is a bit annoying that I thought of it and then the stuff came out. Very little hero exist in my universe and Peter is not Spider-Man. Neither is Miles. New Spider-Man.

My pitch for absolute captain America: take away the frozen on ice,in this he still goes to war but ages much slower,the supersoldier serum was also masproduse in this universe so cap isn't the only one,and in the modern day he would be a hero with so many trauma,his life after the war turns horrible,and in some places he is wanted,also his personality is bit More rough,he is still a Good person and a great hero,his suit would have More darker colors and his shield is damaged just like john walker's in thunderbolts

Please just stfu- please we are tired of this already, this Ultron was so good he made this my favourite movie, they wrote him so good and his voice actors is better, and no it was not 3 days it was far longer then that cus it would take 10x longer for that vibranium to be crafted into the rod he planned to plummet into the crust of the earth, in what if it shows what would happen if his plan wasn’t flawed, this plan is flawed because he tried on Wanda and quicksilver to cover him until Wanda found out that is,

the problem is they cant have ultron win like that because they want the story to continue, but they do want ultron to exist. The main issue i have with complaints like this is that they are irrelevant. The story is a story told by itself in a universe different to the comics. You're welcome to state that the comics did it better, but this is not the comics. Ultron was made well for the role he was set for here. Could he have been around longer? perhaps, but leaving the world a wasteland like you said is not good story telling for the films, whereas the comics have countless universes where that can happen. In fact we DO see this happen in What If? My usual opinion is if you want to judge an MCU film, do NOT judge it by what you THINK or WANT it to be- and Judge it by what it IS. If you like the story good, if not, you can say why. But comparing to comics and saying they did it differently is NOT an argument for it sucking. Most viewers never read the comics in detail, and won't care. Again though I'm not saying you can't have the opinion that the comics were better just that you can't say mcu ultron was terrible because of the comics. They are two different medias are telling two very different stories (i say two but the comics have like 100 different storylines.) While i understand MCU ultron was underwhelming compared to the comics i still thought as far as the film goes it was good. Maybe it could have had more potential but if you judge every film in that manner all you'd do is be pessimistic about any film ever. MCU or not.

When you take on an ambitious character like Ultron you should do him justice or not at all, I bring up this complaint because when a character deviates so far from the thing they are adapting it has to brought up it’s like if harry potter was nothing in the books why call it Harry Potter, the problem with age of ultron is that they weren’t fully committed to the story while if you look at how they treated Thanos they were willing to take his story seriously by giving him the stakes a character like that deserves, I’m not saying to go beat for beat as the comics but give the character a little respect for what he stands for story wise
@bluefiremarkii
@bluefiremarkii 4 күн бұрын
@Axson_Cinema thanos isn't like the comics either. Both characters are treated seriously, but they are both done very differently. I can agree with wanting done justice, but you lose me the instant you bring thanos. The ONLY thing that is the same is the snap goal and the design. Everything else is different. Thanos isn't a sympathetic misguided hero. But the mcu made him out to be a hero figure. Obviously wrong- but still doing what he does because he thinks it's the right thing to do. Vs comic thanos impressing death and being much more evil and maniacal, as well as having many abilities mcu thanos does not possess. The problem you have has nothing to do with the characters vs the comics you just don't like how the character was handled. If it was about being different you'd hate thanos as well, as he is as equally different from the comics as Ultron is. Ultron was fine for how the mcu wanted him. I wish he was a bigger and longer lasting threat but he doesn't have to be the endgame enemy like thanos, or have to win. Ultron had plenty of character in the story. You bring up harry potter and not writing it as harry potter but thing is.. Harry potter literally wasn't written like the books. Half the characters act very differently, be it more charismatic, stronger, meaner, etc. But it's still harry potter because it is the same principles and same story. You're hypocritically getting mad at ultron for doing the same thing as harry potter. Ultron is still following the same beats. The ai, the goal of destroying the world, the design, it's all similar and inspired by but brought into its own medium. The movie is different than comics the same way harry potter is different from movie to books. Again- you're free to voice the opinions but in my experience these type of complaints just sound like childish whining to be pessimistic because little rich kid got a purple Lamborghini when he wanted an orange one. Not you specifically. I'm just saying that 99% of complaints about age of ultron i hear are what it COULD have been or what people WANTED it to be and not legitimate criticism of the movie itself. I get it, people wanted something closer to the comics version. Understandable, i agree with you on that. Where i disagree is the fact that it doesn't have to be a 1 to 1, and the fact that it isn't means you shouldn't be trying to say it's bad simply because it wasn't. Is iron man and his movies bad too? Or are you just biased here? Because the mcu made changes all over the place and ultron fits into the story of the mcu just as much as iron man or peter quill. They told good stories, seperate from the comics. This ultron is still ultron. He's just not the comic version. And that's okay. But you know what? They gave you what you wanted in what if, and that was cool. They could do it because him winning didn't end the world there, that's the issue. The heroes HAVE to win if it ends the world because their story isn't over. Thanos won because he didn't destroy the world, but every other villain, from ultron to ronin to loki has to lose for the story to continue. Ultimately it is your opinion that he wasn't respected for what he stands for story wise- as you say in your own words. But i think he did just fine. Same as thanos. He has a similar design, similar goal, similar powers, but adapted to tell a different story.
