One of my favorite Doom moments is during an older comic. Reed keeps constant tabs on Doom with cameras spying on him in latveria. Reed sees on the monitors that Doom hasnt moved AT ALL for days in his lair and is just sitting there doing nothing. Reed is convinced hes up to something so hes been watching him nonstop for days. Its then revealed that Doom is fully aware of Reeds spying and the cameras, and is purposefully wasting Reed's time so he can prove a point that Reed is more concerned with spying on Doom than actually doing something to help humanity

My favourite Dr.Doom moment is when Sue what having trouble while giving birth and was about to die, so he took her to the best doctor in Latveria to help her survive Any other villain in the planet would have loved to see the wive and unborm daughter of their arch-nemesis die, but not him. He told Reed that "from now on, everytime you see their faces, you'll remember that it was me who was there to save them, and not you" Even demanded to name the child and be his godfather. Because doesn't want to destroy everything Reed has, he wants to take it from him

Another thing Doom has over Reed to keep messing with him is that Doom was the only person who could help sue give birth during labor. For this he was allowed to name Reed and Sue’s daughter which he named Valerie after His own first love. Doom has grown to become her God Father (very loyal and loving might I add honestly) and he even mocks Reed with the “Everytime you say your daughters name you remember that I’m the reason she’s here” type beat 😂

This might sound weird but I wouldn’t mind it if Spider-Man becomes Dr. Doom’s primary rival in the next Avengers films. Basically, Doom would be to Peter Parker what Thanos was to Tony Stark. They should really play into the fact that Doom wears the same face as Peter’s mentor, the same mentor who went through time to bring Peter back. Also, I’d love to hear the same speech Spider-Man gave Doom in the 90’s animated series of the Secret Wars into live action. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want Reed Richards to be demoted in anyway, just play into Spider-Man’s own personal rivalry with Doom. I know people aren’t going to agree with me, but that’s my thoughts.

Come on now. The only reason Thanos and Dr. Doom are mentioned is because of the recent movies. Growing up in the late 80s and early 90s and into the 00s, it was all about Batman, X-Men, Spawn, and Spiderman. Nobody read Fantastic Four, Avengers, or Iron Man. You only knew about Doom and Thanos from the ads in the comics and the trading cards. Only cats who been reading since the 70s or were deep into the lore knew about their exploits. So, it’s stupid to even act like Doom has been relevant all this time.

While names like Otto Octavius, Victor Fries, Edward Nygma, and Emma Frost are too goofy for my liking, I think Dr. Doom and Dr. Strange come across as realistically happy coincidences and accidents. However, Victor Von (von can mean "of") Doom sounds too much like Victor Fries to me, which makes Dr. Doom's name in its entirety sound too goofy. I think he should be called Vincent Von Doom instead, there is a suitable power sound to the name with the V repetition, and that is still kept here, as well as a reverence for the original name due to the name similarity.

If Doom as a character were to create in 2024 instead on 1960s then Doom wouldn't get nearly as popular and overrated as he is today. Magneto generally has atcuall character flaws to protect the mutant kind from every species and humans. That's what he was at first but he slowly developed to understand the humans and the X-men fighting for Mutants and Humans. Magneto development and learned that not all humans are bad. That is atcually a character development. Magneto also knows that he can't protect every mutant in the world and atcually was worried about Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver getting hurt. That is an atcual character flaw. Doom dosen't have any of that and is generic by comparison. Not mention Magnetos holocaust backstory is just even more realistic as to why he even became a villian and why he hated Charles Xavier from protecting humans who killed Magnetos mutant friends and loved ones. Doom hates Reed Richards because Reed is smarter then Victor ever since they were teens!! Such a dumb reason for they're rivalry lmao.
