The comment from Berhard is right,why using HU in front of the verb? but the teacher is also right by saying that HU is used in front of habitual verbs. The problem here is that the teacher should have never added HU in the example because it also confused me.Thank you for teaching us this wonderful language.

You're really to slow, I'm dying wondering during your lessons. You should be a bit faster. Keep in mind you're making videos here. If something goes too fast, one can always go back and watch again.

As a Brazilian, NG' seems easy. Portuguese has NH with the same sound. But I could get any difference between GH and KH. It sounds the same.
@swahiliadventureracademy4309 Жыл бұрын
They have different sounds but almost similar so they can be a little confusing. Once you get used to them they become much easier. Takes practice.

Thanks for this course. Two questins: when you presented A and U, you said "as in apple" and "as in uber". But your pronounciation didn't sounded at al like A in apple or U in uber. Your A sounded like Spanish/Portuguese A (maybe like A in "mArch"). And your U sounded more like oo in school. Is that right?

Doesn’t it normally mean “You don’t…” when you have “Hu” in front of the verb? Shouldn’t it be “ninasoma” and “unasoma”, or is this a special rule for “kusoma”?
@wnJhntn8 ай бұрын
Yes but hu is also the prefix for habitual tense.
@wnJhntn8 ай бұрын
I dont know why it isnt nihusoma, because na normally denotes present tense and ni denotes first person
