NEVER use braid on braid!! You have zero shock resistance! Braid is very brittle when it comes to shock. So even an accidental hook set can snap braid fairly easily, A backlash can easily snap your rig off. It is foolish to use a braided leader with a braided main line! If it hasn't burned you yet it will!

Sure thing, you can use it. So, the bit longer part of the story: Turns out I knew the guy in the first oncoming vehicle. He said that when he was coming back from where he was headed he saw the girl and dog walking back the other direction on the other side of the road! Kuddos to her for walking with the flow of traffic as prescribed, but that also put her in direct path of the dog that ran out into the street to begin with. But, that is all I know. I don't think there was any further altercation. I had a fun filled weekend of extracting wrecked rally cars out of the woods.

it good to see that you drilled two small holes at each end of the cracks . this helps from the crack from getting larger. do the same thing in steel work. thus is something you do not see in other repair videos

I see people's dogs in the road all the time here in Tennessee. For some reason country people dont take precautions to stop their dogs from running out into the streets like this. It's so sad to think that one day one of the dogs are going to get hit by someone.

No idea. Eagle Claw bought out BioLine (was a company local to me) and then promptly killed it off. Last I looked (10 years ago) there was a Japanese company making something similar but it wasn't available outside of Japan.

Isaac, I don't follow what nature of this event was. Did you just follow others around the forest roads in the rain, or was there goal in mind?

Nevermind. I fugured it out. You were working as a chase vehicle post run to clean up any stranded or wrecked rally cars. I was a trail marshal once during the SCCA Tillamook Rally back in the early 2000's. LONG DAY started at 5am from my house in Forest Grove, down to Tillamook Hanger, up to my trail marshal location way up in the woods. Two rally runs (one day, one night), and the final course sweep to remove all of the course markers and trail tape. Finally got home around 2am.

@@insaynbcr yep you figured it out, I do this for the Olympus rally, Oregon trail rally, and tour de forest... Depending on how things turn out I might do Idaho next year too
