Very well done. In my opinion no other song is more ahead of its time like this prelude. It's pretty much jazz - and it was created over a century before the genre even existed.

There's a choral that traditionally goes along with this piece - it is my understanding that Sir-Bach stopped the Fuga when he could tell he would die, and wrote a final choral. I should research this - But it is what I read on an album back-cover a long time ago. I have Always loved the story. Bach was just... in tune with Jesus, the Father, and the HS. His B-minor mass has been called the 5th Gospel in some circles - and upon analysis, it has that quality.

5:52 - How is this even Possible?? Doing SUCH a great job. Just love this last (unfinished) fuga. It was not written for Gtr - yet nonetheless,..here it is. Love the "BACH" section especially. Brilliant performance.

The tonecolor, the clean pitch and the phrasing is so enticing, thanks for posting. I think the 3rd and further variation demand guitar duet, and he has recorded and published the whole set, so great!

Human need to break barriers and extend frontiers neve cease to overwhelm me. Not so long ago no one would have ever imagined that such a monumental artwork as the Goldberg could be played on a guitar... and there you are. We hear nowadays BWVs that were thought to be outside the guitar universe. Thanks so much to every contributor from Tarrega to whoever may have done the last miracle (Eötvös is nearly my age, and so much has happened since his Goldbergs transcription). My most humble, deep and respectful admiration maestro.
