The Vocaster 2 has auto gain! I don’t recall a stereo mode/switch, but in your DAW, it’s possible to record with both inputs.

@@DaveSoltura correct, thanks for the reminder. Forgot the auto gain in hardware holding down the guest button. I never ever use it other than seeing the feature in software which I also never use. Vocaster is XLR but I can mod it to work with 1/8" or 3.5mm or to work with 1/4" or 6.35mm (don't quote me on the exact mm, 1/4" is always listed as 1/4" in Canada. i am on day 13 in a row at work and not getting much sleep and stuck in a work camp... I have to pay for my reviews out of pocket, most of the time. $100,000 ISD out of pocket in the last 5 years, between both my channels.

Check if your sample rates are matched. Should be via sound settings, set to around 44100 or 48000. Sometimes this is in your audio software. Or perhaps the audio playback rate is faster on audacity.

Thanks for sharing, I see what you mean! I might've gone overboard with the shadow on the mic. That was never the intent. I was A/B testing, and there was a thumbnail where the mic is clearly visible. I've now selected that as the final thumbnail. I definitely don't recommend you replace the AM8, if you've just bought it! Do give it the love it deserves and maximize it. A lot of people use the AM8 as a starter mic, and the goal is to present this as a long-term upgrade option, maybe a few years down the road. Great choice! The Ethos does sound darker with the pop filter on, but it's super clear with the pop filter off. Have a whole video on how to a way to make it look great while still having plosive control coming up. :) Anyhow, you really can't go wrong with either as both mics sound incredible. Can't wait to possibly review the Icon Pro!

You'd just need to connect the headphones to the AM8. Then the AM8 to the iPhone 14 using a USB-C to lightning adapter. :)

Hello! A lot of it has to do with my early exposure to Cartoon Network, Disney, Nickeloden, and anime at a young age, and speaking to my brother who was also exposed to all this. However, it's completely possible to train. I personally provide American Accent Training lessons to a limited number of students, too. If you're on a budget, lots of English-training apps, and I still find them to be useful myself. :) Boldvoice is a great option. It's 5k/year, but that's significant savings versus a US coach, who can charge around that much per session. Hope this helps!

Just look at the eq settings here, and if the Sonar GG mic preset can be changed, tweak it to copy these settings, or perhaps make a new template if that option is available. :)
