Toll, daß Du über die reduzierte Belichtung auch die Farben reinbekommen hast. Bei Belichtungsautomatik ist Feuerwerk oft nur weiß. 🤭

I love the straight out of cam shooting. I like editing before I shoot. That is a real challenge to me atm. I shoot mostly classic neg, chrome, and acros only JPEG atm unless its for a more formal style of shoot.. but if you're walking around shifting between multiple film sims it can get messy, so having like two or three locked in and understood is a good JPEG workflow. Post production on my Sony often made me feel disconnected from the photos and moments.

Yea I also usually keep to one or two film sims per shoot. Can definitely understand what you mean with the post production aspect. It can make the photo feel unauthentic sometimes in my opinion.

For the question at the end: Film sims only with some tweaks before sharing. My days of raw editing are mostly over after 23 or so years. 😮💨🥳 👍

This is well done. The X100V is perfect for this kind of job. Thinking about the ZF for a second street "Z" camera, but having been a Fuji shooter for 10 years, I would like to try the 100VI (if I could get one).

If you download the Fuji RAW app, shoot with both a film sim and RAW, you can then use the camera as a RAW management tool to test different sim looks and do post adjustments. Always a good back up strategy but large files. As an old hand who used to use all the original film stocks from Fuji, the latest sims are pretty accurate. As the film sim mode, and the web site, tell you which is best for what, you can quickly learn the ideal sim. Of course, as others pointed out, you can use the film sim bracketing within the camera, so say Velvia, Reala Ace and Acros. After my first 1000 shots I favour Velvia for landscapes, Standard for cities and Reala Ace for a standard high quality look.

Hübsche Stern-Videos! 😃👍 Polarlichter und wir - eine Geschichte voller Mißverständnisse! Polarlichter sehen in der Natur NICHT so aus wie auf veröffentlichten Fotos. Die veröffentlichten Fotos sind fast ausschließlich mit modernen Smartphones und Nachtautomatik aufgenommen. Ich hatte in der 1. Nacht Pech, denn ich war zur falschen Zeit am falschen Ort. Meine Wolken-App zeigt die Wolkenbewegungen verzögert. In der 2. Nacht war ich besser vorbereitet, UND ich hatte unteterwegs noch umgeplant. Letzten Endes fand ich mich zwischen Pfingstberg und Warnitz wieder. Das ist kurz vor dem Dreieck Uckermark. 🤭 Schön dunkel, fast null Lichtverschmutzung, nur wenige Wolken, also gute Bedingungen. Die eindrucksvollsten (weil unechtesten) Bilder sind mir vom Autodach mit dem Smartphone, Fernbedienung (S-Pen) und Nachtautomatik gelungen. Als das Smartphone mit der Klapphülle ruhig auf dem Autodach stand ging die Belichtungszeit auf bis zu 9 Sekunden hoch, den Rest besorgte die Fotosoftware. Helles Lila, Rot und Grün... alles, wie Social Media es haben will, obwohl meine Augen fast nichts davon gesehen haben. Die Aurora Borealis ist dabei auf den Fotos mindestens um den Faktor 100 übertrieben. 😂 Ich hab' dann noch einige Fotos in manuellem Modus Richtung Norden gemacht. 30 s, ISO 160. Das RAW-Bild habe ich mit Lightroom bearbeitet. Damit kam ich dicht an die Realität ran, die Aurora Borealis ist vielleicht noch um den Faktor 2 bis 3 übertrieben. Ich bezweifle, daß man von den "Filmen", die bei KZbin die Schönheit Skandinaviens zeigen sollen, überhaupt ein Zehntel in Wirklichkeit sieht. Das siehst Du daran, wie schnell Autos oder Schiffe durch's Bild flitzen. Ich vermute Belichtungszeiten von mind. 30 s und ein Bild nach dem anderen... hunderte in Folge.

if you ask me the X100VI got it two days ago its over-hyped. a M43 camera is a much more versatile and travel friendly and under-rated specially on video.

Yes definitely go for it! I am using my IPhone 13 Pro for the pov. It’s ok stable, but I had to cut many parts out because when I am walking it can get quite shaky. I am thinking about getting the dji action 4 that is supposed to have great stabilizing

Ich hatte wohl nur ca. 40 Mückenstiche, ein Mitschüler mit Insektenallergie hatte über 70. Der fehlte die nächsten Tage wegen Atemnot und doppelt verdickter Waden. 🤦♂️

You should get the wide angle adapter for your X100Vi, specially when shooting architecture + street, really amazing, and yes, I prefer Acros Y (the pictures you took)

It's a bit older camera but I still have a big smile on my face using my Olympus Pen F. You can adjust so many things in it that you hardly have to do any post-processing. Yes, it takes a 'lot of time' but that's part of the fun. So I call it my Zen F Enjoy your camera

Agreed on shooting RAW i addition. To me it looks like you overexposed and blew out most of your skies, both in the video and the photos.... Remember to expose for the highlights. Jpegs doesn't even come close to RAW when it comes to details in the sky.

I loved finding another photography channel by a female photographer! There are so many channels with men, and it's great to have a variety of perspectives on photography. I'm already following you and I hope you keep up with the channel. I confess that I'm more of an analog type of person, a digital camera in my hand turns into a machine gun , but I watch any channel and we always discover something new, a new place, new tips... Interessantes Video! 😃👍 Die 3 Blüten- bzw. Knospenfotos lohnen sich auf jeden Fall für 'ne Vergrößerung auf Papier! Lohnt sich bei den Wolken die Mitnahme eines Polarisations- und eines Rotfilter? 🤔 Kann man den Rotfilter bei oder nach der Aufnahme elektronisch einfügen? Bei den bunten Streifen am Schuleingang hättest Du in Farbe fotografieren können und anschließend einen Farbpunkt auf einen oder alle 3 Streifen setzen können sowie die Straße und das Gebäude elektronisch in s/w umwandeln. 😉

Danke 😄 Ein Rotfilter wäre bestimmt passend. Es gibt tatsächlich auch BW Film Simulator mit verschiedenen Filter Kombinationen. Also geht auch beim fotografieren und könnte auch beim editieren hinzugefügt werden.

Have you tried the high speed flash sync? It's the true photographers geek feature, I never shoot in raw with my Fuji's, I do use the film sim. bracketing ocasionally though, it's faster to delete than edit, which I'm tired of doing. I have the old x100S, still waiting for the VI, fun channel, I'm interested in seeing what you come up with.
