All respect to Mark, but, unfortunately, this cover is MUCH worse than the original. The Gun Club's version conjures a variety of emotional landscapes hinting at brightness, hope and somewhat manic desperation. In contrast, ML's version is just... a generic sad ballad carried solely by "the Lanegan voice". Much more superficial, much less interesting. Sorry Mark.
