For when you replace a drive, you do not need the screws for a 3.5in drive, thats what the clips are for that snap off the edges. The screws are for a 2,5in SSD. Just an FYI.
@volcolbyАй бұрын
The box included two different sets of screws, one labeled for 3.5 and the other for 2.5. That’s all I know.

I have a question about the privacy areas. You say it only allows you to select three boxes on the grid. Isn’t that three areas (connected boxes) and not just three single boxes?
@volcolbyАй бұрын
So, I went back and looked. I have 3 areas blacked out, and that is actually 6 boxes. I cannot add any more area to any of them, but it’s ample to exclude my neighbor’s windows.
@chrismartin8103Ай бұрын
@@volcolby yeah, after commenting I received mine and could verify that you can create 3 rectangular areas as blackout zones. You probably need to delete an existing area and recreate it if you want to add more to the area. BTW: I noticed that the Apple Home app also allows you to create activity zones that supposedly influence the areas HomeKit uses to detect movement. That could also be an interesting option.
@volcolbyАй бұрын
@@chrismartin8103I checked out the HomeKit settings and it does offer a better option, especially if you draw the area and then invert it to be the exclusion. Thanks for the input.

Your pressure gauges are only relevant when water is flowing. The "static" (no flow) pressure is unchanged by filter restriction. The pressure change for a given restriction increases as the rate of flow increases. So, for example, in my house those pressure gauges are only indicating the problem when the flow is near maximum, such as when multiple uses are active including filling a tub or two at full flow.

I very much appreciate your simple explanations with this product. I've been using the Google Nest for about 8 years or so. There have been numerous challenges, but nothing to make me move to another product, until their two latest changes. 1- Customers have to switch their accounts to another service. This has been impossible for me, and I've been unsuccessful in reaching a human to try and rectify the problem. 2 - The monthly price is increasing, again. I'm over monthly subscriptions. After much research, Arlo, Eufy, Ring, Ubiquiti etc, the Aqara seems like a great replacement. It really comes down to want you want. For me its, excellent video quality, no monthly subscription, wireless/cable-free, simple app interface...and of course excellent reviews. Thank you for your reviews.

i got scammed as well. I blame Apple as much as I do the thief on Facebook. Before I met up with the seller on Facebook, I had him send me a picture of the serial number and I ran it on Apple's website and it came back as a legit serial number. I went and met the guy and he had me open the box in the Whataburger parking lot. My phone said new AirPods found, and did the whole standard connection thing. It wasn't until reported Waze I tried to get the noise cancellation features to work that I suspected something was weird. When I got back to my desk and connected them to my Mac mini, they didn't show up at AirPods, but a Phillips product. I ended up finding that serial number for sale all over the web. Apple knows there's a set of serial numbers being sold as fake. They could stop a bunch of these sales in their tracks just by flagging the serial numbers in warning people on the check my warranty, Apple page. But for some unexplained reason they continue to validate the scam serial numbers. And that actually makes me matter, then getting ripped off by some dude trying to make a buck. There's no excuse for Apple not to flag those serial numbers.

I was recently able to track the temperature and humidity in our bedroom by using this monitor. Both my wife and I had felt like the room was getting too hot at night, but the thermostat settings seemed to be okay. However, using this monitor, I was able to deduce that not only was the temperature rising by a few degrees but also the humidity in our room was getting too high during the night. Now on to solutions...

@@volcolby Thank you for your response. I am thinking to switch all my house’s switch around (18-20). And I dont like them connecting to wifi directly as it will clog my wifi and if something happens like change wifi password, I will need to reset all my 20 switches . If there’s a bridge or hub that it supports these switches and I can connect them with it and bridge to network. Just like Lutron Diva smart Dimmer Switch but they are too expensive. It cost over $70 each and that will be over $1400 just for switches.
