Fix Your Bosch WATERTAP Error Code E:15

Here is a fairly quick, somewhat simple way to avoid calling the repair guy for your Bosch error code E:15, which indicates that the Watertap "lock" has been activated to prevent water from leaking out of the dishwasher. While there ought to be a simpler fix from the manufacturer, it seems that this is the best we've got.
Appliances and their codes are a tricky system, but many can be fixed or taken care of if you know what they mean. Many Bosch dishwashers include a leak protection system, which is a great feature. What you do not want, though, is to have to call a repair person every time the dishwasher triggers this system. In my experience, the error code has been triggered at least once a year, maybe a little more for the 5 or so years we've owned the dishwasher.
While the fix is fairly simple, it does involve at least a couple of tools and will only work if your drain line and electrical connection allow you to pull the dishwasher out from its location.
