Mam, I want to leave from my company due to work cuture. I have completed bond of 1.5yrs. Now they said you have to serve notice period of 3 months otherwise experience certificate will not be issued, but i dont want to serve. They said if any replacement is there, and serve notice period completly then you have your certificates, but from last december no employee will be here of my profile. So whats the possibility that if I serve notice period completely but still not replacement is there. I have letter for 1 year in which state that 1 year is completed and also salary is mention there. Now, when I going to next company without having experience letter or releving letter can they accept it? Coz I dont have letter for 1.5yrs. Plz reply if you read this 🙏

Hi, To justify that provide them with 2 Scenario's : 1. The company was familiar to me (relative's) and they strongly urged me to join their team. But I quickly realized within 9 days that the position was not aligned with my career goals and decided to withdraw. The experience was extremely short , So I have chosen not to include this experience in my professional history. Therefore, I kindly request the creation of a new UAN number. 2. I was selected for a specific role (Role X) at a company. However, from the first day, I was assigned responsibilities that were entirely different (Role Y). I addressed this to hiring manager, But he/she confirmed that these new duties would be my permanent responsibilities now. So, I decided to leave after one week. The short duration of my employment did not add value to my professional experience, and it is more accurate to exclude it from my employment history to maintain clarity and relevance.

Hello, Some MNCs are reluctant to hire without any document from their mandatory checklist. In such cases, it is crucial to do your best to convince and request HR for consideration. Try following approach to your best: Tell the HR - The previous employer is unwilling to provide the letter despite your requests. Provide - Contact information for colleagues, supervisors, or HR personnel from your previous company. Show FNF docs, Exp. letter and resignation acceptance letter, tell them you are in process to receive rel letter as it takes time in previous company.

Hello Riya, In this situation, Please share your bank statement for the last six months worked with that company, as requested by the next employer. Additionally, try to contact your previous company to request your pay slips and experience or relieving letter, as they typically retain records of former employees for several years.

Additionally, provide references from your colleagues at your previous company who can speak best of you. It’s best to avoid discussing the FNF settlement since it was negative. Instead, focus on presenting your available documents and, if possible, include a reference from your reporting manager or another senior person who can help clear your BVC.

Hello 1. Write an email to your previous company seeking relieving letter and show the same email to MNC HR that you have already mailed, try to explain their policy of not issuing relieving letters. This can serve as an official statement confirming your employment and resignation. 2. Ask your previous employer to accept your resignation in email and show the same email. 3. Submit a self-declaration that you have worked and have left with no dues, and share strong references of your colleagues who can speak best about you. And try to convince HR with above docs.

Since your previous employer has already created your UAN number, it's advisable to inform your new company about your 2 months of experience. "You can explain that your previous employer had initially stated that the job was a time-framed position lasting 2-6 months, and the project you were hired for concluded in just 2 months." You can confidently provide your existing UAN to your new employer, as it is portable, or you can request the generation of a new UAN number if necessary.

These alternatives could include providing best references, self-attested documents, Full & Final (FNF) documents, or departure/leaving emails. FNF documents can be particularly effective substitutes, as they confirm your departure/leaving from the company without any outstanding dues. This shows to your future employer that you've concluded your previous employment responsibly.

Hello, As you have genuine reason that you fell sick / health issues, So show these supporting documents to your new Onboarding / Hiring Manager and clear them regarding the exact status. Claim that you have can provide reference of your fellow collegues and try to convinece them to provide them your Self attested document for exp. letter along with UAN, Pay slip, joining letter and other documents. In this case try your 100% convince power as big MNC's have their standard procedures, so requesting and convincing them on any alternate way is the only solution.

Hello Maam, I have worked in 4 companies and have all the documents from previous 3 companies except for the most recent one, as I had applied resignation from tool and got automated mails post applying resignation. And the in my current situation I got a job offer(verbally) after clearing all rounds in xyz company, In my resume I haven't mentioned about my most recent company as I only worked there for 1 month. Now currently the background verification is going on and Hr of new company recently called me for resignation acceptance mail for the most recent company even though I haven't mentioned anything about this company, which I belive is active in my UAN. I told her that I got automated mails, post applying resignation from that company and sent her the same and also told will check with HR for resignation acceptance. I went to office on 11TH March 2024, for buying out the Notice period and they refused and instead sent mail that, since I am not willing to continue and serve notice period my separation will be done on "Abandonment of Services" and the service letter will be subject to positive FNF and also they will not provide me resignation acceptance since the separation is being done by "AOS" Moreover this company has changed the subject line and sent a new mail on 12TH issuing show cause notice just for asking them to relieve me from my services. Note: I submitted all the assets and ID to that company on 11TH March 2023 also in the new mail they confirmed my last date of working as 14TH March 2024. I request your guidance and help in my case, I don't want to lose my offer from the xyz company. Should I tell the xyz company that the my current company is not cooperating for resignation acceptance and issued this unjust show cause notice? Also will this xyz company even require any service letter or reliving letter even though I worked only for a month in this recent organization? I haven't even mentioned the experience of my current company in resume during the time of interview, so will they still ask for it's documentation?

Hi Faizal, No there won't be an issue (unless a company has strict rules). When candidate is good and selected for the position companies also overlook 1-2 points. And even asked mandatorily then show your salary slips and resignation letter and convince on that point only you can also add that you have asked many times but they won’t provided it .

Hi Pratha, As it was your first company that has not provided you with the relieving letter and you also have a letter from Labour office and salary slips then it’s not at all a matter of concern. Once you get selected in an MNC, and asked to submit the documents - submit all the documents and when asked from HR Team about first company relieving letter then only explain the matter and show labour office certificate. There is not going to be an issue in such scenario.

@@bhavyainsights yes correctly same I did and this docent get issue at all. and after I get labour office permission plus labour office talk with company and tell them they are doing wrong in legal way and many things. company finally agree to give me experience letter. there is no one in front of Labour court. I will suggest everyone whatever company did to you if its not good just go to labour court and send notice its ABSOLUTELY FREEE. company can't do shit.

Yes, its part of compliance policy of a company. Relieving letter is part of documentation process, so yes if company has a strong policy to complete the documents in stipulated time and you are unable to provide those docs or convince them with any substitute documents then yes they can take such steps.

Hello Parth, EPF Statement - Its a Govt Approved Doc So indeed its the most authentic proof to show the duration/tenure of work. Salary Slips - Will give the latest info about your current salary/break-up of allowances/ benefits etc. Offer Letter - On company's letter head for sure a proof that when you have begin your services and on what compensation. In absence of your exp. letter / relieving letter if new employer questions regarding your employment proof then they are the supporting documents.

Hello Shubham, In absence of offer/appointments/relieving letter (all) it becomes a bit difficult to prove your employability, but as you have said PF was deducted that you can try convincing your new employer/company (at interview time) with EPF statement as it’s an authentic govt. proof. But still if they won’t accept your experience then take a step ahead to start as a Fresh candidate, so more valuable time of your career shouldn’t get vacant.

The overlap period is pretty small just for 4 days so it will not effect, but to be on a safer side would suggest; you should be transparent during your interview and tell the same at the last round of the interview to the HR, you may state the reason miscommunication between departments etc.

Hi, If you have offer letter or appointment letter and salary slip still you can convince your new company, there are many companies who still don't include employees in EPF scheme or doesn't have that compliance yet. You should negotiate to provide with reference contact number of your colleagues or manager who can speak best for you and give them a written self-attest doc of relieved successfully from previous company

Hi Having letter from previous company and not from previous to previous company will work you just need to negotiate confidently on your part with the help of EPF docs support. Big 4 norms are standard there might be a possibility of non-consideration in case of absence of letter, in that case I would suggest you to negotiate with your previous employer also, and try to convince to provide with self-attestation of doc.

Hi As your working duration with your previous company is just 2 months, so you can simply justify to your new employer with availability of 2 months pay slips along with offer letter and self attested letter claiming you have been relieved from your and there are no pending dues. If you have FNF settlement docs then they are way more acceptable as that shows your accounts and dues are settled with the previous company and you are relieved. EPF statements surely an added advantage to proof your employability duration in terms of month/yr in case of absence of Exp/Relieving Letter

Yes that is valid as in new company only photocopies of documents get submitted or docs uploaded in software. So that is valid.
