@OvergroundUnderground10 күн бұрын
I've seen many dead sheep in various states, they do go in mines during the winter, went in a Rossendale mine once and was met with at least a dozen sheep

Good explores, thanks for the vid. The two V shaped metal objects looked very much like wheelbarrow legs to me - very similar in shape to barrows you still get today - possibly by the wooden handles of barrow nearby?

If there's something we've learned on KZbin, it's don't go caving, and don't go diving! Mining seems like a happier median! Really interesting, thanks for taking us along!

Here are short visits amid a 10 mile extent using cartography under Montana: Horsethief LIDAR Flythrough
@jcee225929 күн бұрын
Vacated mines are former industry sites. Leaving evidence of that activity. Extracted soil and stone, typically. People start this hobby by learning where mining may occur. I may find man-made excavations searching for Karst. What I expect to enter and explore is not man-made. One such entry found Saber-tooth Tigers. SCUBA let me find unknown life within tropic reef caves. Have done Grade-6 cave cartography for the US Park Service.

If it's where I think it is it is a rather heavily disguised runway that can only really be spotted from the air and even then with some difficulty.

Thanks, it's a very interesting mine, those ladders were inviting but probably not safe to climb with the gimbal and camera in hand too. We'll sort something out in November I've been searching for other mines in that area too, got a few pins 📌

@@OvergroundUnderground We carry powerful lamps, three of them as double back up. You are in deep trouble if you are left without lights. You can check many clips on KZbin, look for Cenote diving or Ginny Springs in northern Florida's cave country.
