I loved my Abisko lite zip off trousers! Until I found what my local Fjallraven calls "wear and tear". 😪 After 9 month (together 6 days hiking and few afternoon walks) 😞 So very disappointed with durability, rest perfect. Sorry Ted, but Abisko Lite is more for dog walking.

Skulle vara toppen om man kunde köpa fler reservdelar också. Jag har exempelvis ett tält från er med trasigt innertält men de säljer ni inte separat så man måste köpa ett helt nytt tält.

The center button hole in the waist is tearing after a few times of usage in urban conditions. Same thing for my friend (she has more mileage on the trousers though). Anyways very disappointed on the durability. They should have extra padding around the "center waiste button hole"😢

I would also add earplugs and an eye mask. Though if you are asthmatic earplugs may be a pain as you can hear yourself breathing.

If the enviroment has taken a toll on your quality, you should step it up alot... I`m afraid of what i am reading, that you won´t honor warrany claims, real legit warrany claims....I mean seams that break due to normal usage on a 2599SEK pant should not happen, and should be covered by warranty!! I bought Keb since i thot they looked good, suited me perfect... But i will return them since they are single stitch and i have read alot of bad press of the keb pants breaking. And Fjallraven not backing their product.. Such a shame...! But i wont take that chance, that they will hold up since they are 2599SEK when there is pants from lager 157 that hold up better then some other ppls kebs and only for 299SEK. And they you have the work pants, that have service in mind, they are more like wandering pants. for less money and PROVEN quality amongs tradesmen all over the country!

And also, workpants with stretch has 2 stiches, they hold up VERY well, why dont you go the extra mile, to enshure quality?? Cant be a matter of cost.. or is it..?

I bought my first pair of trousers. I live off grid. I was happy until I realized it was made in Vietnam. Another company charging for European labour but using poorer nations. Shame on you.

Deal. I have had a Skogso jacket, Expedition Latt, and Nuuk parka for a few years now. Love all of them and plan for them to be as much as lifetime jackets as I can make them-they're all I'll probably ever need. My only regret is the Nuuk has velcro... I would have much preferred snaps throughout. The velcro will wear out much sooner.

What do you think is a reasonable lifespan of your Geenland Winter jacket? I’ve owned it for 8 years and use it every day from October to march/April in Sweden. I had to replace the zipper once and now the seams on the arms are starting to go get worn out. Still holding together but worn. The fleece is getting thinner and the insulation on the arms is thin now. I still use it but it’s not representable for town anymore. Just useable in the wild. Which I do. Is 8 years long enough. I hope my lifetime is longer 😊

I have to say: My first 👔 is still as new... wore it many many times... doesn't get dirty, doesn't stink, doesn't need to get ironed. I feel like this will last forever!

That is exactly what I love about Fjällräven.. The workmanship is outstanding and you know that when you buy an item that it will age with you and will do a lot of living with you... Something so hard to find these days

Well done, well said. My first Sambava is quite old now. Since a few years I don' t use it anymore. Too weared out. But I don' t throw it away, too many memories. I proposed my wife wearing it. And I am 25 years marriednow. I think I wore it about 25 years. Is that long enough???

In case anyone watching this video is still undecided or perhaps thinking this is just a marketing flex, let me tell you: IT IS NOT. The products Fjällräven produces are top-notch! I don't even know how to explain it; it's a different kind of feel. Let me give you one example: we have all probably heard about Gore-Tex, the coating that adds a water-repellent effect. In the same category, Fjällräven offers this wax that you can apply as much or as little as you want, providing an extra layer of specific protection. I'm very happy with the five or so pieces of equipment that I own.

Fortunately, I am autistic. So, keeping clothes for years upon years is something that makes me very happy - hence why I occasionally buy Fjallraven (it's very hot where I am, lol). Good mission ethos, ensure you continue to back your warranty/repair for consumers, and they'll continue to use the products.

Lovely message! I've used quite few of your products mostly because they just last for so long. I was so surprised when I finally completely broke a pair of Keb trousers. Amazing products and a company that really seem to live by your own words!

Well said, Martin Axelhed. In fact, I just returned from picking up my beloved Barents Pro jeans today (they take a beating during field research in the ancient sandstone and desert of Egypt). The stitching and hems were repaired for free by Fjallraven, giving them more usable lifespan! I wish the rest of my gear was as durable! Thanks Fjallraven!

Important text spoken by a natrural human , still in love with the marvels of the world and being full part of nature . We can learn so much wisdom from the Kahalari bushmen . A civilisation in itself being connected with the essence of life. Yes keep asking the why, what and how questions, stay curious and slow down to get better answers and respect for all what lives . Well said Francois Malherbe and continue the life long journey of tracking and sharing !

I have the Kajka 65L and really love it. I'm backpacking long miles months at a time with heavy loads (40-60lbs). I'm female, 5'3 135. My hips are 30 inches, waist 28 inches. So even the small waist belt is too big. As a thought, would it be possible to create a hip belt and lumbar pad that is both foam and air filled? Sort of like the Thermarest sleeping pad, that is foam and air filled. While im sure this would be a pricey thing, it would also be form-fitting and comfortable and allow for weight loss in smaller people 🤔

My least favorite Fjallraven pack out of the 4 I own is Kajka75. That Vynlon fabric has developed so many holes in it in fropm just normal use, and the tailor at my local Fjallraven store told me to just repair them myself. Lol, gee thanks. 1970's schoolchildren backpack fabric might need an update here in 2024. Bergshell is so much better, but its used so infrequently by Fjallraven.
