Everybody has a grab bag, tray, box, or tote they use for normal maintenance and repairs. This is smaller version of a roll cabinet that is easier to move around. And it incorporates a tote tray that can be loaded up and used remotely. This is what works for me, hopefully you’ll pick out something that I’ve done that might help you!

Since you have all those tools and stuff in the back you should consider having something that prevents anything from flying to the front in case of a crash. I knew a guy in construction who would take home stuff from sites. Anything that was going in the trash, if he wanted it he would take it home. One day he was bringing home a stop sign to put in his man cave. He was in a terrible accident where the car flipped and the sign ended up slashing his neck. He did not make it. Be safe.

In my situation, the inside storage is more important than passenger space (this is primarily a work truck, not our family transportation) I built this using the same anchor points as the seat. I’ve stowed it away and can reinstall it when my needs change or I replace the truck.

Before loading the trailer, inspect the tires for dry rotting and low air pressure. I would use car tires. The tires that come with the trailer are usually low quality. I would also check the lights and test braking system.
