@@RidgleyContractingI’m building a 35x25 shop now. I like the layout I saw especially the partitioned area when you walk in. Can I see more of that? Or maybe a rough layout sketch? I need something to go off of

I’m going to use the pvc for caulking storage. Like that your bench is like a tribute to others. I have the majority of my grandfathers tools. Gave my nephew the 7up case that was his main carry around with a lot of his newer tools. Hoped it would get him going if he decides to use his hands. Then I got the ones I knew he had early on and used which you could see have gotten him out of a jam. Plus all his carving tools. Which I have slowly been trying to teach my eight year old daughter. Got to pass on the information so it doesn’t get lost. Plus she will get everything I have so hope she can use it.

Thank you! I feel that when someone aspires to work with their hands that their workbench ( be it fancy, custom or something as simple as a board on a couple of saw horses ) is a symbol of desire to create things. I very much agree that children need to taught skills while there’s still a few of us left to teach them. Thanks again and keep watching. I almost forgot , does the F350 you’re working on have a 7.3 ? I had a 97 and have a few filters and such laying around the shop.

I love "Shop Tours". For someone like me, I do mostly repair work, automotive, small engine etc, to home remodeling stuff. So the variety of equipment and supplies i keep is vast and organization is a nightmare. But 9 years ago I got my first "man cave", and there is just nothing like it. 1200 sq foot of heaven, that i spend more time arranging and rearranging than I do anything else. I have learned a lot. for example, I used to think that having all my wrenches etc up on pegboard would be cool. But I realized I hated it and prefer all my tools in tool boxes. Labeling storage containers, SUUUPER important. I have 2 "service" carts that I use every day. The most underrated things i see in shops all the time are 2 things. First, people will build 70K metal buildings, have 15K in spray foam or other insulation put in then refuse to put up some 4x8 sheets from floor, up 8 feet to protect it, and every time, within a year the lower part of the insulation is just destroyed and filthy, and the other is VERTICAL STORAGE. I don't care how much space you THINK you have, always go UP with long, bulky and long term storage. But something I never seen, was your Caulk storage idea. I love it. And of course I have PVS laying around so guess what I will be doing? lol. Thanks for the ideas. Sadly, I have no friends or family to leave everythign I have behind, I often wonder what will happen to my stuff when I pass or Jesus returns.

Thank you very much for your comment and for watching! I agree I do love organizing and reorganizing as much as I do actually doing stuff. It’s ever and forever evolving. Be sure to check out the rest of the channel. There are lots of ideas in my other videos, with new storage ideas to come after all I’ve still got room on the ceiling! Thanks again and if you haven’t already, consider subscribing.also my dad found the anvil before they became sought after. Every farm auction listing now a days will highlight if there is an anvil in the sale.

Very cool. Thanks for posting. Look forward to the excavator job. In case you’re not already a follower - Have you seen the videos of ‘Cutting Edge Engineering’ in Australia. He runs a shop doing lots of work on excavators and mining plant. He reminds me of a - with all due respect - younger version of you. Very proper, well organized and high quality work

Be patient with my videos, my years of experience don’t include much filming or editing. But you only get experience in life by doing and trying. Hopefully I’ll get it figured out.
