San Pedro has two crops, a breba and a main, the main requires pollination by fig wasps. Panache is just a common fig (not San Pedro).

Two things. Most give the top fig among all varieties to Black Madeira carrying the "king of figs" title. "A Top fig", sure. It's good. Also, misinformation likely cause you didn't know, but Panache is a "common" fig which means a parthenocarpic variety that doesn't need pollination. It can be grown anywhere.

Wow I just learned from your video, I was about to say this isn’t a parthenocarpy as it still has seeds (meaning fertilization has occurred), but I just read that figs produce seeds without pollination so therefore it is a parthenocarpy. 🌱

FYI. Parthenocarpic doesn't mean seedless...eh, mostly. It means it will grow to full size fruit without pollination. Almost all fruits carry ovules which can become seeds if pollinated including this variety "common" fig. These ovules can appear to be seeds even when not pollinated. These ovules are good size and crunch even though not fertile.

@@xaviercruz4763 The wasp can only live in certain environments, but you can hand pollinate (do what they do). Common figs do NOT need pollination.
