Old video revival...I had what I thought was a dead axiom 61 for 10+ years in storage. All of the C and F# keys didn't work. Resetting with + and - buttons while turning power on didn't work. I saw this video and dug out the Axiom and said, what the heck, I'll give the cleaning a try. Lo and behold it works again! Thanks.

Wow its working on my ipad pro m1 dead zone. Mine have problem with my apple pencil but works fine with finger. It works but its not permament. Sometimes the problem back again after a day use. But its okay i just click that again several time on my screen and back normal. At least it saves me from getting costly new screen. Wonder how that works. Anybody got explaination from it?

My Technika induction cooktop had a similar issue caused by small cockroaches leaving chemical trails over the pins of a surface mount intergrated circuit on the control board (or Display board as it is called in the parts list). I cleaned it thoroughly with alcohol and inspected the solder joins which all looked ok, so put it all back together and it is working again. It was the only component which needed cleaning, there was no evidence of chemical deposits anywhere else. I don't know why the cockroaches were attracted to that one part, but the 'legs' of the intergrated circuit were much closer together than any of the other intergrated circuits on the board.

Hello, I had the same flashing light on a Rumble 100 which was never sold or played, right from factory. In my case the switching IC from the SMPS was not soldered properly, PIN 7 which connects to the current sensing resistor was not soldered at all. In suspect any problem in the power supply circuit which leads to shut down and restart of the switching IC will result in the flashing light.
