Given how much the Undertale fan community likes to toy around with the concept of AUs, It'd be easy to say that this Shadow is the version from the dark endings of Shadow The Hedgehog, you know, where he is slaughtering humans left, right, and center? Specifically, he'd likely be True Dark Hero, where he is totally evil, but betrays Black Doom at the last second and announces his own plans for conquest, though there are SEVERAL endings from Shadow The Hedgehog one might source from. The most good he could be for this context is Semi Hero Dark, where he declares himself the guardian of the ARK and all intruders are unwelcome.
