I love how they made this more of a boss fight rather than an encounter considering that this would be sans' first kill and froggits' stats are higher than sans lol.

@@epicsans5553 sans' attacks deal 1 damage per frame they are in contact with a soul. the froggit could be cooked against regular sans let alone with a tough glove. (standing in a gaster blaster for 1 second for instance would deal 60 damage.)

@@Koamoments I would say that instead of relying on raw stats, Sans could go human route and just hit froggit with increased normal attack damage with tough glove

@@Koamoments that is the problem. the damage sans causes us is due to our LOVE, lv. that would mean that sans literally does 1 damage, not counting the tough glove.

I need to talk about this song for a second. (I already said this on the SoundCloud upload but I’m freaking saying it again and better this time). Enemy Approaching v1 was great, but this is SO MUCH BETTER! Like, you could’ve just said: “meh, the original is good enough, we don’t need a v2”, but instead you made THIS! It really does feel like Sans is way out of his element, trying to force himself into a role he doesn’t fit, physically or mentally. Statistically, Sans would have to dodge at least 30 times assuming he does one damage per turn, and that’s right at the limit of what he can do. And like, even though the song is so much more intense, it still feels sad. Sans doesn’t WANT to do this. He’s doing this because he’s tried literally everything else. He’s just as scared as the poor Froggit. The song conveys all of this really well. Uhhh sorry that was a lot. Cool song, GoldenFlowers!

@ While yeah he could multi-hit wouldn’t that also mean he would have to dodge multiple of Froggit’s attacks per turn? So it evens out. Also I’d assume since the Froggit did nothing wrong, Sans wouldn’t be able to use Karma on it.

@@bingbong8464 Well yes, but the multi-hit is part of Karma (unless I’m mistaken). And yeah he can do all that stuff, but he’s still the weakest monster at the end of the day. His abilities can only do so much to make up for his abysmal stats. But let’s not start an argument. If you want to believe that Sans would win easily, then good on you. Just pointing out that in the Brotherly Love canon, this is a hard fight for Sans.

Amazing remaster, it really sets the tone of difficult this fight would be for sans! I love the dude, and he has some excellent magical capabilities, but he is still the weakest enemy for now. Either way, thank you for another year of lovely music, and Happy New Year!
