The diversity of Tal's playing never ceases blowing me away. I watch n listen her play and she is almost the most archetypal perfect very fn cool bassist ever. and she's a s cute as a button! And she can sing. And write. Amazing human being.

Funny thing about Zappa music. Almost anyone can play along. Just play any scale with them playing whatever they’re playing and it works.

Zappa will never get credit for how many ways he was a genius. Dweezil has thankfully preserved his unique guitar style and sound/equipment to the extent anyone could. I'm glad to see younger people getting into it.. Maybe one day Frank will get his due after all.

Tal Wilkenfeld is the most overrated bass I ever seen, she's mediocore and Zappa doesn't make any sense at all. Why Vinnie Colaiuta would play with these people he must be getting paid a lot cause they're way below and inferior to him.

Jazz composers start out by saying lets see how boring we can possibly make this particular piece of music and then let us allow gifted humans to shine. The boredom ends up overwhelming the gift. My son is a multi instrumentalist jazz producer and performer and will never make a dollar in his "calling". I desperately attempted to teach him carpentry and he has always told me to fuck off. Now he has to live in the bed he made.

I grew up on Zappa. Tal my love my beloved the all time greatest chick bass player I ever seen. OMG I wish I was still young, I'd give you a run for your money angel. Aaaahhhh !¡!¡! Getting old sucks. Her hair is captivating her eyes I'd get lost in them gee I wonder if I got a serious crush huh? When I first seen her with Jeff Beck I thought ok what an angel then when I stopped gawking my ears picked up on her chops. My mind blew all to hell. Nothing sexist but chick bass players are kinda lame not tal she slogging it out with the big dogs & holding her own. Hunny if you see this please don't be insulted I mean all respect. I can't help I'm a man a damn good bassist & so want to meet you I'm first a gentleman too. Sugar bear tal you got in my heart ha.
