Lovely video, Class 92s are my favourite. For some reason it always seems like the 92 drag from Crewe back to Wembley is usually cancelled. Any ideas why?

@LucasTheElectrostar Thank you! It's always great to see them even if they're being dragged. I believe that working doesn't need to run very often, but the path is usually activated to run for some reason, hence the frequent cancellations

Could be a backup locomotive for breakdown or for power supply. Unlike older days modern carriages (if any present on that particular train) do not generate their own power from wheel-mounted generators but instead designed to take the electrical power provided by the locomotive. On the first train that would likely be the first carriage, the other ones are MK1 stock which were used with steam so they would be independent and self-sufficient energy-wise provided wheels are spinning as wheels would turn generators.

Great progress on the WCML, let's replace a 22yr old CL221 with 125mph tilt with a Hitachi CL805/807 Fleet limited to 110mph with no tilt...
