everybody is entitled to their own opinion. but, guyz, the colors are awful from inside out. and that much of wood everywhere? did u ever measure the unnecessary weight u added? also marble, etc? yes, it seems like a bonding experience for the whole family but the wasted time and effort and the money with wrong material decisions... hope u enjoyed it. ps: if it's the best exped truck, why did u sell it?

No we had no troubles with the inspections, as we repaired it correctly. And to be honest. we are away from our country nearly 2 years and no MOT (APK) needed when traveling freely around.

A fire truck is a good truck to build into a camper, it is built to haul a lot of wait comfortably at high speed

A hell of a lot of work and money. Incredible job. But I’m concerned that once you start 4X4 ing, with all the body movement, twisting, bending and things expanding and contracting with the deferent temperatures. All that beautiful work is going to suffer. Lord I hope not. But being X Army driver, I have seen what does happen to trucks chassis. Good luck and I will be watching your incredible journey. Subscribed. Oh, by the look of the map on the little round tray. I didn’t see Australia or New Zealand. Will you be going down under?

It has been a hell of lot work but it is more than worth it. We are currently in Africa and yes 4x4 it still holds on. But you are more than right about what it does to our truck. Had not expect it to be so bad in some places. Just Some lock have been hard to keep from breaking down but with the electronic magnets at the kitchen we are all fine. Going down under? We love Australia and New Zealand…. It won’t get better anywhere on the worldl than there 😍

What a beautiful build. My wife sitting beside me was loving all the choices you made for interior materials used. We are actually thinking of doing the same thing but I am very new to Expedition Vehicles. We live in Portugal and I wanted to know what's the reality of driving these trucks on Europe? We initially wanted to get a Toyota Troopy and build it out, but we figured why not build T0 apartment on wheels! Especially with house prices the way they are!

Thank you… To be honest it is amazing driving it though Europe. As we are not that big we will get along almost every path we had in mind taking. Next time we might make it a little bit lower as we are 3,95 high and especially in England and off road tracks. We have sometimes a little trouble with low hanging branches. Rather than that we are pleased with it. Even into the cities we can almost get to every center. Where it is allowed and where we wish to get to. So for us there would still be no other choice than our vehicle and to be honest when you get into Middle East or Africa where we are currently. You need a strong vehicle. It will be torn apart especially in Africa the roads can be terrible

@@OhanaTruck Thank you for the reply especially when you're busy on your trip. Do you have any new "Driving around" videos? I've lived in Iraq, UAE and Jordan and I completely understand the importance of having a strong vehicle. In Africa, I assume you do a lot of research to know which countries are safe to drive through and which are important to avoid? Take care and stay safe!

Hi. The company is not doing truck no more. Only Toyota helix pre built for Toyota.

Music is a matter of taste, but after 1:30 minutes I switched off the "nosedive" because I couldn't see the point, especially since I couldn't look at the landscape or even enjoyed it in peace.

Very cool ! As a German I did have to laugh at one point though: Making sure the drawers don't open during off-roading with electro-magnets is a solution one of our guys might have come up with. Not saying it's stupid - just "sophisticated" 🤣

@OhanaTruck JUST today driving on highway (up here in Finland) drove past a big rig hauling a similar fire engine you began your project with. Couldn't help but laugh, as it is not 2 days since I watched your build video! What are the odds! Maybe someone took it to themselves to follow in your footsteps. 😁

There is not much sence in buying double crew cab firetruck to stirp it out for chasis, and cut the cab later when you could just buy a smaller cab truck
