The og Castle of Illusion is actually the Genesis version (1990), they did the Master System/Game Gear version in 1991. I'll always have a soft spot for the latter, since It's the one I grew up with.

I always played the latest I didn’t even know there were two before 😅 But these games are actually so good. I haven’t played the first two but if they are anything like the latest one then they are amazing.

I played all 3 and I must say that all them are great on it's own way, although, I prefer the original Mega Drive version, it have a special feeling to it, and also it's the one that holds a special place on my heart.
