Christianity IS the Holy Roman Empire, it never destroyed anything except all those who were opposed to it. Those who are in this Imperial death cult, are always the last to know.

haha in these times the trials wouldn't be over for a decade and appeals would take another while the insurrectionists in congress would keep trying to derail it. [wow even back then stanton was concerned about a drawn out appeals process... 🙂at some point due process becomes justice delayed is justice denied but where does it shift?]

That's not an accurate representation of "purgatory". .. Which is just a word, like Trinity. Neither of which appears in holy scripture or translations thereof. It is however a state of a soul where that soul is suspended between death and heaven, denied the full presence of God due to its state of sin. It is not grave sin which in the justice of God merits hell. But rather in need of purification as "nothing unclean shall enter the kingdom of heaven". Purgatory, while seen as the great shibboleth of the protestant reformation, is in fact accepted as a concept by most protestant sects in modern times. It is not possible to tell whether any soul is in purgatory, (or indeed heaven or hell) as that is a matter for Christ to decide. Although some people claim to be visited by them, q claim which is neither accepted nor denied by the church.

Good video but i take major umbrage with the "so called islamic state" comments isis was exactly what an islamic state would look and its an attempt by islamists to disguise that fact. Using "So called " is the islamic equivalent of the modern day facists we see in the west explain how the nazis are left wing in order to disguise the horrors of their idea if power.

A typical Western version of history full of myths. Was the Parthian army inferior in numbers?? No, the Parthian empire was gigantic and their army consisted of a core of 10.000 heavy armed knights and bowmen on horseback (CATAPHRACTII), superior to the Roman infantery based army. Probably about 30.000 light armed troops on horseback (spear throwers) and foot soldiers (bowmen) were also present. The Parthians used the drums to let the Romans form squares (sitting ducks), making attacks on all sides possible. The Romans had zero change of victory!!!!!!!! AMONG THE PERSIANS ALL RULING POWER WAS RESERVED FOR THE MILITANT ARISTOCRACY, THE PARTHIAN LEADERS DID KNOW THAT CRASSUS WAS ORIGINAL FROM PLEBEAN HERITAGE AND THAT IS WHY THEY POORED GOLD IN HIS MOUTH......

2:23 Purgatory as defined in multiple Church councils of the early middle ages, was always a temporary state of purifying punishment, for the sins people did but faced no consequence for on earth, and prayers for the dead would only speed up the process of entering the perfection of heaven, which the burning fire of purgatory represented. I felt compelled to comment as your phrasing here implies it was thought such prayers were absolutely necessary for reaching heaven, which would not have been accepted doctrine.

For textbook Catholicism, not controlled by Protestant white officers, look no further than Spain, where in living memory Catholic priests were strung up on Barcelona lampposts by the enraged population Look also at why Catholic priests insisted on converting Francos black African troops, before they were unleashed on the young girls of the White Villages

How could you omit Knox's period of preaching in Edinburgh in 1554! His SEVERAL SERMONS EACH DAY not only transformed the deeply Conservative Scottish Capital into a hotbed of Presbyterian Protestantism but spread such influence to other burghs outside of the capital and Perth and Dundee! When he made his famous 'sermon against Idolatory' in St John's Kirk, Perth in 1559, people had already gathered to hear him! This was after the "Beggars' Summons" fixed to every friary in most of the Scottish burghs, earlier in the year, warning the clerics within to vacate the premises and sell all their goods for the benefit of the poor of the Burgh! Knox had already provided most of the metaphorical 'gunpowder' before his sermon. Strictly speaking, he also 'lit the blue touch paper'

Dear, oh dear. He can't even get the doctrine of Purgatory correct. If you were judged for Hell, your soul wennt straight to Hell. Only if you were judged for Heaven might (note might) your soul first go to Purgatory. Might, because it is not impossible that some souls go straight to Heaven. And no, the number of Masses, prayers, etc said did not determine whether yu entered eternal life. That had already been determined at the moment of death. All the Masses, prayers, etc could do is to affect the time spent in Purgatory, although this is not the most accurate way of putting it as time does not exist in the afterlife. Frankly, if you want a decently reliable account of the Reformation in Scotland I would look elsewhere.

Also, no one knows what souls are suspended in a state of "purgatory". So why 'pay for prayers" for any specific individual's soul to be released?😂
