It’s sad, people that are eager to work will agree to do risky jobs without being fully aware of the potential risks.

I remember as a kid we never had snow since 2016, but when snowstorm came that year, I was actually mad not because I had a power outage going on because surprisingly we were a few neighbors that never had any effect to our homes besides the snow but I was mad because I had a schedule photoshoot right on that day and I’ve been wanting to do this shoot so bad until snow came and fuck up my plans

I had just moved to Dallas at that time and never really understood what the big deal was. So I didn't have power, big whoop. So the roads were covered in ice, no big deal. The water being out for a week was annoying, but still manageable. I did fine. I lit some candles, ate my most perishable foods first, put on my sweatpants, cuddled up under some blankets, and still calmly drove my bf to and from work every night on empty roads. It was fine for me! 😅 My pipes finally burst right after power was restored, which was a mess, but hey, what do you expect from PVC?

during this, in my town, our gas station was the only grocery store that was still open most days because of the weather. so, as our family would watch those several car crashes on the news, we would also have to watch our parents go to work. i remember being scared out of my mind every time they left

Why do people never seem to be found guilty in German disasters? The Eschede rail crash had a similar outcome. They found no one was guilty.

Pp it's funny cuz of the 35 cruse as I took the carnival triumph was probably one of the most memorable cruises I took in 2002 we went from New York City up to Halifax the ship was impeccable with one of the largest I was on and the service was nothing short of amazing I'm only your mother could have done a better job, but we have to be realistic it's a ship its mechanical things break you know it's not like you can pull over on the highway and call AAA, majority of these ships run 12 to 14 hours every day 7 days a week 365 a year for 10 12 years before they have to be overhauled.

We should close everything in ammuusement parks in the country. Someone might be hurt. Don’t matter if millions are killed in car accidents, one person died in an amusement park accident. People demand fun yet they sue for damages

NO FAULT to the Orlando free fall ride. VERY OBESE people demand equal access to rides, plane seats etc. in our society where we don’t discriminate, people allow unsafe obese people in dangerous situations to not Offend them. I guarantee if they told him he was too big he’d have pitched a fit

The train operator was a total tool, he messed with the brakes but did not not test their function after, further more he had secondary non pneumatic ELECTRIC brakes which would work just FINE but did not use because "we usually don't use them so it didn't occur to me to use them" as he had ample time to do EVERYTHING he did notning right, bottom line the dude got away with mass murder but I doubt he even understands that

The politization of this spill by the media and regulatory agencies was by far the most criminal and reckless bs ever. Covering it up just because it would harm joe biden and democrats prior should have all of them in prison for the "disinformation" they pushed which WILL kill people.
