Don't leave your external hard drive plugged in while you're not using it. I left mine plugged in when lightning struck super close by and it fried the hard drive. I think it had something to do with a power surge. Not sure, but I know it sucked!

I have recently found out too that setting hard goals isn't as motivating as it used to be. Arbitrary word counts and deadlines have actually made it more stressful to write, which is so odd cause I used to really thrive on those. Just proof that as we grow and change, so do the things that motivate us!

Okay first of all. I don’t know what it was in this video but you just made me finish the entirety of chapter 4 for my supernatural element inspired novel/book and it felt second crazy! Secondly I’m so proud of you I’ve gone through this entire journey with you and cant wait for more. Lastly you’ve made me realize that I’m actually really good at writing specifically just writing romantic tension and heartbreaking and emotional death scenes (spoiler alert for my project lol) but yeah! So thanks to you for giving me some creativity back and giving me something to look forward too because now every time I’ve head a writing block I’m gonna remember everything you said during this video and how it all helped you. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH THANK YOU FOR BEING ENCOURAGING AND KIND AND SWEET and I’m just giving you all the love now. I’m gonna stop 😂❤

I sort of bastardized my own challenge. Technically, it's 100KQ4 with one novel finished and another one started, but with at least 50K in November. I have ~2.5K to go to 50K and no holidays this week (cause Canadian) so I'm positive I'll meet that part of my goal. Have a great week and safe travels!

as a fellow content creator & writer, I’m so sorry this happened to you. I HIGHLY recommend getting an SSD for your video editing to keep your videos on without bogging down your computer & not always having to delete footage so it would never be in the same space as your books which are so irreplaceable! as for the book, that is so devastating and my heart broke for you when I saw the title. 💔
