I realize this is totally absolutely deranged, unhinged, psychotic, uncalled for, mean, cruel, evil and I heard one person believes it might be terrorist..... I am just a sociopath though. I am actually going to politely request evidence.......... It was one of the most relevant attacks of its kind in recent history, nothing like it has happened before. I mean ya my government has never lied. Not REPS, NOT DEMS. They don't exaggerate, they don't accidentally fund terrorists like Osama, they don't accidentally dose american citizens with LSD, they 100% totally for legit never ever spend trillions on endless war when homeless vets, 2 amp or 4amp homeless vets don't have food. I mean our vets are so taken care of and never mislead none are on food stamps and they all get PTSD treatment and more vets are not dying of suicide than killed i endless war because the government: Rep/Dem/Trumps are straight up. DUDE!!!!! People! Friends here on you tube. I am stupid and asking for something crazy. Our government has never lied about war or an enemy and with 6quadrillion percent confidence they have never spread misingormation about china. Still my head on my butt hand on my scrotum I feel uneasy. Given the timing, complexity, depth, sophisication, importance, data taken and frequency attacks like this have happened before (0). I am doing it..... Can we have evidence china did it? Normally our government should be able to do what they want wen they want regardless of constitution, risk, imment danger it places us in or horrific consequence. It should really be hookers, gum drops and loli pops for 100% of our politicians must live free from debate, critique, question and must always just instantly be believed..... Except for this? I know its so crazy. I am a sick b*tch suggesting it might be reasonable to assume my government lies. Share technical indicators of compromise (IOCs) such as: IP addresses Malware samples or code snippets Domains or servers used in the attack. These would need to align with known patterns used by Chinese hacking groups (e.g., APT groups like APT41 or Hafnium). While some people might never accept anything there are 4-5 other pretty reasonable ways to prove it or to help win confidence.

Since 2013 I've had six offers of free credit monitoring because of American companies were hacked. It's ridiculous. Thanks for your insight on this.

Re questions: what do you think about services like deleteme? From my understanding, this particular one scored quite poorly on how many data brokers it covered and it cannot remove us from internet (like they made it a selling point), that including the dsrk web and countless legit organisations that must hold data on us, whose databases also get breached all the time. I consider paying a tenner each month for removing my data from a limited number of data brokers a complete rip-off, if not entirely a scam. What's your view on this service?

Soon it will be easier to count those people whose data didn't make it to the dark web (yet). So what's the point in incentivising criminals for their crimes? Have a reliable backup protocol at the organisation and when the 💩 hits the fan, fix it, recover your data and let the criminals get stuffed with the loot.

This is comprehensive cybersecurity news coverage and commentary, and while I did not have a chance to view the entire video, I will watch it another time and additionally explore other videos on this channel. Thanks for posting!

Well regardless of the incident, the U.S will continue to work with China. Letting them export their super cheap products into the country‼️ WW3 is going to have a lot of Cyber attacks.. P.S. your audio is very low bro. I got shook when an annoying add (louder than you) popped up‼️😵

I don't understand why virus protection etc doesn't stop attacks even when people click on links or accidentally download malware. It puts everything on people. The malware protection shouldn't let that stuff run

If companies cannot have a down time of a few hours or days at most, they will face a downtime for months, unless they pay the ransom, which will cost them more than the downtime and patches combined. Next will be to pay a subscription to the cyber criminals to let their 'clients' alone, so the company doesn't have a down time 😂

It is astonishing how many large organisations get affected and we hear next to nothing about it, the same for other organisations not appreciating the level of risk. And there we have a deleteme services which charge a tenner per month and can do nothing about it. They just pull money out of naive folks and achieve data removal from a limited number of data brokers, holding our data legally and sell it for mostly adverising purposes.

I hear you, and I know the constant battle to stay ahead in cybersecurity can feel exhausting. It’s a tough field, and sometimes it does feel like the effort goes unnoticed. But every step we take in defending against cyber threats makes a difference. People may not always see the work behind the scenes, but it’s essential-and it matters. If there’s a specific challenge you’re facing, feel free to share. We’re in this together

If bosses were fired when their systems were found to be externally insecure, these problems would be greatly reduced.

You bring up an interesting point, and accountability at the leadership level can definitely drive change. However, cybersecurity is a shared responsibility across the entire organization. While leadership sets the tone and allocates resources, the complexity of modern threats often requires a collaborative effort between IT teams, employees, and executives. The key is creating a culture where security is prioritized and everyone plays their part. What do you think would help encourage more accountability across the board?

It's a big deal. You shouldn't cut budget to IT department.
@XactCyber
@XactCyber 26 күн бұрын
Absolutely agree-cutting the IT budget is a risky move, especially in today’s threat landscape. Cybersecurity requires consistent investment in tools, training, and resources to stay ahead of evolving threats. Underfunding IT can lead to vulnerabilities that cost far more to fix after a breach. It’s about shifting the mindset from 'cost' to 'investment in protection.' Thanks for highlighting this critical issue!

I just came across them today after our main telecoms company was breached 2 days ago (Telecom Namibia)... Although they said it was stopped i did not believe them as i saw multiple cybersecurity reporting companies showing the breach of 626GB of data not disclosed yet on their site. I went and confirmed for myself and i am shocked(my first time actually being on the DW, i have no malicious intent though). You would think as much as it would cause a loss of confidence in their investors , they would prioritize the loss of customers data and try to deal with that as the highest priority instead of releasing a public statement saying the attack was literally prevented
