I work in the distribution center and it affects us too, but ahold told us nothing. Had us using our personal hotspots in office to get the work done

I work in the deli department and it's affecting our product we are running real low on deli meats and it's effecting our fresh made in store sandwiches and pizzas and soups and grab and go meals

THE STORY HERE is the fact that this “attack” first appeared in the stores on Thursday, 11-07-24. The date for this and a million others are less than 24 hours old. Why does the reporting on this treat it as ‘just an ole fashioned hack, son, this time it just affect your groceries.”

Often it's the only one available in the area. Some people have very limited mobility, and delivery was knocked out too. Same with the pharmacy.

re: ‘Go to another store’…It’s raining and you are running late. What else is new? Throw the kiddies in their car seats, and head to the grocer for the supplies you will need for the birthday party you volunteered to host for your youngest and her best friend. Same birthdate. Half way to the store you realize you forgot your coffee. Pull into the parking lot. Lovingly, yet determinately, jerk kids out of car as the rain is REALLY coming down now! Toss them into an abandoned shopping cart and speed walk to the entrance. At the door you are greeted by a lovely young lady smiling nervously, “Cash only, ma’am! We are currently only able to accept cash.”😢….This better get fixed fast! The competition in this area is fierce!

@@tcw6442 took me a bit to understand, but the other store available, Kroger, wants to buy Albertsons. They are working on a monopoly, and they should be avoided. Ahold isn't buying Albertsons.
