 Water- natural birth Spirit- born again Context- John 3:4 Answered by 3:5 Luke 18:9-14 which is a mirror of Isaiah 66:2 and Psalms 32:1. God describes what it will feel like in ezekiel 36:25-27. Jesus describes it in Ezekiel fashion in John 15. 15:2 isn’t saying someone has salvation then loses it. He is talking about false claims. Its a 1 fold scenario. Notice he says it again but predicates the saving aspect upon a 2 fold reality vs 1 fold in 15:5. There has to be a dual abiding happening. We cant just say we abide without evidence. And that evidence is God working in and through us. Paul shows us in eph 1-2 and Romans 8 what the spirit does and how it interacts with our walk. My favs are.. Hebrews 12:4-8 Galatians 5:17-18 While there is no sin counted or condemnation for those in Christ, there is very real and significant change. And its change outside our will. Any type of cooperation is a form of spiritual coercion in a sense. In a good way. I had porn addiction and was ripped from that life kicking and screaming. Cooperation is resultive of spirit compelling under struggle. Its why we struggle and its why we do not sin unrepentantly. the “will” of God is answered in scripture. John 6:40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day." Eternal life is more than just belief. Belief is possible once Grace, faith, repentance are granted but it is the one who knows God and his son that has eternal life. John 17:3 Imo the thief on the cross could only say that Jesus was innocent because he knew who Jesus was before the cross. So his eternal salvation wasn’t just granted from two strangers and one believing in one not in a single moment. Such is true with most bedside conversions. Most people know who Jesus is before they believe before their death. Born Again from a reformed Patristic scripture perspective is Acts 1:5 and Mathew 3:11. It is a heart change.

Is the Catholic Church the only denomination that believes in Transubstantiation? If that is real, then all the non-denominational churches do not take bread and wine seriously because they don’t keep it in a tabernacle nor do they hold it over an alter. They just hand it to members to take.

Sorry, but Nudity is (literally) not an interior state. No matter how much feelings and experiences and morality rules we hang onto it. Animals know no 'shame'. Most of them have an attribute to keep their nudity hidden from sight by fur, feathers, scales. A dog or monkey may not mind having to wear clothes, but when their owner pulls them off, they are naked (again). 'Vulnerability' is a feeling that comes with being naked, but mostly for practical reasons: being naked outside in a blizzard! Having coupled vulnerability with nudity is culturally taught-- a toddler jumps out of its clothes easily, until Mommy screeches: "We have visitors!!" In three words, she kills a human's sense of naturality, and often for life. I have always tried to fight that. "Naked before God", I always found that a beautiful quote. There are pastors here and there who hold nude sermons. That makes utter sense. Their churches are Houses of God, right? If you want to be close to God, that's the way to do it.

Once I was with a Christian woman who tried to have strict boundaries to physical intimacy. I suffered the tortures of Tantalos! Imagine my surprise when one day she declared she desired intercourse. Little had I known the intense feeling of guilt that this would cause her afterwards. Our relationship spiraled downward from there and a month later she broke up with me. Since then I have only been with non-religious women and that's really best.

It’s especially really confusing when someone identifies themselves as gay, just because they find sex with the same gender fun. I believe that’s just hedonism. If someone is actually gay, they would not see it as just stimulating the dopamine area.

I'm skeptical about what she said and i hope she's getting there. Basically, i knew a girl who was raised as a boy. Predictably, she was tomboyish, but not because that's who she was, that's because that was everything she knew. I don't know where she is now, but the last time I saw her, she was wearing a long flowing skirt (it was during the summer). This classmate previously wore tracksuits and stuff. I'm skeptical because Brett talks about it, but still pretty much wears a lot of the same quote-unquote tomboy stuff. Perhaps she's at the beginning of her journey, but... Idk

I feel like you are just being bias here saying that married people on Earth will be married in Heaven, but single people who never found anyone on Earth will have no spouse in Heaven. That doesn't sound very fair and just. I think it's either we all can have spouses in Heaven, or noone can. It's likely one or the other. It wouldn't seem fair or right to say married people get to keep their spouse but single people miss out.

She stopped just short of saying “God won’t ask you to do anything you don’t want to do”… which is unscriptural. I think that’s what she thinks. God is God. He is sovereign. He is not about a “vibe” or happiness. First she says being attracted to beauty is fine. Then she vilifies it in a covert way. Very silly video with almost no scriptural basis.

There is no such thing as a marital debt. The Catechism of the Catholic Church has nothing on it. In fact, it says the opposite, that sex should be in moderation. And Pope Paul VI wrote that sexual relations should only occur between consenting spouses who want to have relations; otherwise, he says, it is abuse.

Looking at all these arguments as an eighteen-year-old homeschooled male is kind of shocking at times, and I admit that I'm probably not the guy with the answer to all these disputes. But isn't it likely the case that the guys saying they wouldn't ask out a girl dressed like that and the guys asking out girls dressed like that are two different groups of guys? Maybe I'm wrong, but it just seems to me that it's unlikely that these are the same two groups of people. I'm a guy who often argues in favor of modesty online, but I'm also in favor of modesty in public. It seems like supporting one online but not in public is rather counterintuitive.

I really don't know if God cares if you're in a good marriage - From a lot marriages I've been around growing up in the catholic community that's not case at least not much better than secular marriages - The divorce rate for Catholics is about 37% and that catholics who attend mass at least once a week - and that's how many it kills ( divorce) and what about the walking wounded, and sick ( stonewalling , resents , out right lack empathy for the spouse? ) or those hanging on by a thread that are separated those are not counted.
@inabind416

What are you saying???!!!! 🤨 OF COURSE God cares. Marriage is supposed to reflect the relationship between Jesus and the Church! Jesus represents the groom, while the Church represents the bride. What did Jesus do? He laid down His life for us. He was a servant. That is what the groom was designed to do! The bride was designed to be the groom’s helper. If a marriage is an unhappy one, that is not God’s fault, but purely the fault of the two in it. That’s why it’s so so so very important to choose the right person. Great sex shouldn’t be the basis for getting married. Of course, God said no sex before marriage because it should be sacred. But we all believe the lies, don’t we? Even Catholics, Protestants, what have you. We have free will. There are consequences for everything.

Well done catching this as this is one of the reasons why I can never trust Protestants to tell me the Truth about anything with the Scriptures, God, and the Sacraments concerning marriage like this contradicting themselves, God, and Scriptures. This short clip here is a other sign God wants me to share the knowledge he has given me with others and lead them truthfully to think about Him and to the Catholic understanding of things like marriage especially and the Faith.

Hey! George is a recent convert and is super genuine but is absolutely by no means an example of Protestant doctrine. He’s still figuring out what he believes and is very new to the faith. Feel free to have your concerns about Protestantism but don’t use George as your highest example! He’s just a normal guy figuring things out. I think we need more voices like his being honest about their journey.

@@JacksonMulkeyI did not know but George is welcomed in as a Catholic convert and rightly so coming to the faith. I understand now that he is working out the lies he was always fed and comparing it to the Fullness of Faith and Truth in the Catholic Church Jesus founded. That’s the whole point of faith is to work it out and grow in what is True comparing what we believe to test our mind and beliefs against what is True in the Scriptures and with the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It’s kind of funny to me because I am the same way the 11 apostles worshipped Jesus but still doubted him in their hearts and faith (for their faith was not fully grown and perfected) yet Jesus at the end of Matthew tells them “to go out and baptize every nation making them disciples in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

God never does anything without a reason. Never just acted on a whim and will never start to as Jesus tells us this when he tells us the unexplainable actions of how God acts within himself as the Trinity in that all 3 Persons are in agreement and then act with a clear purpose even if we don’t understand God’s plans at the same time since they are God. That being said, think about how infidelity before marriage will never change and only get worse it’s clear sign to not go forward with it since that person does not even have the basic knowledge of what marriage and relationships are for. This is why Protestants contradict themselves and God and why I never listen to them or trust them to tell me the Truth. Marriage is a vow for life and God even in the Old Testament requires us to pay up on our vows and honor them for life including marriage and our baptismal promises.
