Yes, the CE-3! I loved mine and I have no idea what happened to it. I got one of those when they first came out in the '80s and I had to get another amp so I could run it in stereo. And, man, once you run chorus in stereo, you start to understand why the entire decade of the '80s sounded the way it did. They should've Waza'd the CE-3 instead of the CE-2.

A list that has Harmonist as Ultra is no list for me. I get it, it's his list, but really.. Harmonist? That's a ridiculously specific pedal. But yeah, it's his list so.. :)

Don’t know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but if you haven’t done so already, then check out Drowner by Polarbear Effects. It does the bit crushing and sample rate reduction and reverb in one pedal. That’s the one I use, and I love it.

What's the main purpose of iridium, to shape the tone and make it sound like you're recording a miced up amp? My amp has a headphone jack, couldn't I go out from there to my other tone shaping pedals into focusrite? new here.
@CyberattackWorld2 күн бұрын
The reason to use an amp modeler like the Iridium is that you don’t have to set mics and you can simulate recording at extremely high volume (to make the amp sound good) without bothering anyone. Also the Iridium can simulate a few different amps in one box. But if your amp has a headphone jack then yes you could record out of that as well.

Two reasons I am making this comment: 1. I couldn’t pass up being the 100th comment. Dipping on that would have likely caused me to have nightmares. If you’re not making imperceptible changes in the various environments you find yourself in you have some serious balls, man. I’m actually annoyed by the idiots who noticed this vid was on comment 99 and skirted. 2. I turn knobs like an asshole. 🙇

So the special cable….. it goes from the guitar to the pedal? Or from pedal to amp? Or does it require two of those cables for both? I just went through 100 videos and found no clarification anywhere else, this video was the closest thing I found to a clear answer in the beginning that you need the cable as well as the pickup.

I have a fulltone supatrem v2 in stereo. It was pretty fantastic til it stopped working. Have to send it back to Jackson Audio to fix it. It sounded great in my stereo orange tube 32. I like a super fast stereo tremolo, with synth before. It sounds like a zipper sometimes. Also I would do vocals through this peizo spring toy mic and it would almost sound like harmonica. Tremolo is one of my all time favorites that should always be on the board. Slicers are rad. I used one for one of my tunes on synth.

Ooh, tremolo in big fx chains. Wonder if he's gonna talk about or play Radioheads "Lucky" I think that's delay, tremolo, delay, reverb in that chain. I remember one day when I stumbled across it and could basically totally emulate it with that chain. The delay's are at two different intervals though, and one of them syncs with the tremolo and one is half or double time.

One Boss pedal that I’ve reeeally enjoyed and implemented almost everywhere is the DC-2 dimension. It does just that, adds a little dimension to everything. I play reggae stuff sometimes where it’s great with a little heavier mix, and some shoegaze type stuff where a little goes a long way. Great pedal.

@@CyberattackWorld It's a great topic! I saw T2 at the cinema the week it came out in the UK (I'm old). I have very vivid memories, it was a hell of an experience on the big screen back in the day. I haven't seen anything since the one with Christian Bale, which didn't really seem like a Terminator movie, but I feel like I need to go watch them all now.

Love it, love it so much. I had a Marshall Vibratrem, from new, back in the day, and it became a signature part of my sound, it was basically always on to some degree. A dry warm, clean neck pickup sound into some trem and then just a little reverb from the amp, I loved it. Of course, you take it to a whole other level here! Thank you for another incredibly inspiring video, there's really no-one else out there that comes remotely close to the information, inspiration and entertainment I get from your videos.
