What does it take? A lot more than what's apparent on the surface. Sure it takes depth of knowledge, dedication, creativity, and a touch of capricious fun. But the best formula also includes strong team rapport, a little bit of serendipity, and a little bit of luck.

Sometimes low/no budget projects turn out better than what studios put out. Cinematic vision, team cohesion, and finding joy in executing the project rather than feeling like it's work- those things all lead to a much more artistic finished product in my opinion.

Good way to grow skills. Production is most often on a tight timeline and projects like this give you exposure to that kind of experience.

It's a quite good short film. I loved the colour grading. The skin tone is so sharp and clean. It goes well with the environment and the feel of the movie. Great job. BTW, How did you get that lens flare (at 2:34)?

Super inspirational. Watched it yesterday and it looked so good I was expecting the camera to be as pimped out as the behind-the-scenes pics I've seen of 28 Years Later - So was awesome to see how simple you kept the rig! And thanks for always being so open with the makings of. Also I spotted my guy Blake Rizzo there 😂
