Part 2 in work? Suspenseful and engaging story, more so bcz these type of falsification of records happens in reality. I knew a real one where a successful automobile engineer faked his death to pay debt from insurance but accidentally killed himself, during investigation it was revealed that the dead person was a hitman hired by his wife.

Rule number 1 in short film logic (can be applied to full features as well): if it's not relevant, cut it. You could have a way more impactful film in 5 minutes tops. Cut, cut, and keep cutting. For instance, the beginning... there's a 30 seconds opening shot of a television screen displaying fake ads... Why? How is it really relevant? We don't have time, it's a short film. Keep editing your film
