Rule number 1 in short film logic (can be applied to full features as well): if it's not relevant, cut it. You could have a way more impactful film in 5 minutes tops. Cut, cut, and keep cutting. For instance, the beginning... there's a 30 seconds opening shot of a television screen displaying fake ads... Why? How is it really relevant? We don't have time, it's a short film. Keep editing your film
