Something about how the facial captures translate. Also, the "modified" version definitely did fit better with the original aesthetics of Fable, the sort of "pseudo-Disney" look.

i feel like what some people fail to understand, is that there is a difference between fiction and reality, sure that fable girl might look like someone you'd see in real life, and thats the problem. People want to play as atractive charaters or see them on screen in their escapism. The launch model literally looked like she had a mustache, and honestly I don't even really think this current model's super flattering of the actual human model it's made after. This issue is layered. One part is that in the first trailer all her scenes had her scunge her face up. Secondly she is not conventionally attractive, below average.
