Nice job! Where did you find 5x12 and 5x10 pallets? I looked around my area and only found 4x4 and 3x4.

It's great that you build a mini cabin with pallets, helping to reduce wood waste, protect the environment, and protect the forest. Congratulations1

theres another video on youtube with someone who uses pallets for projects and apparently they had a conversation with one of the people who treat the pallets with methyl bromide and that person said the mb dissipates 100% in a very short time period, long before it would be in your house and that all pallets reguardless of marking were likely mb treated at one point atleast. They said you could eat off them safely if you really wanted too.. Not that i think you should, just saying what i saw in another video. I myself am still trying to decide if i am going to use those ones or not.

Quick question, but if the fresh water tank is already full; can you still pump water into the camper via city water connection? I just tried hooking up the hose to the city water port on my camper and water began spraying everywhere as soon as the pump kicked on. For the record, I’m also using a seaflo water pump. It’s pretty much the exact same model but it doesn’t have the regular plug like OP’s model. Instead, it has the positive and negative wires that hook up to a battery.

I have an idea to basically double down on reducing the water tank to sunlight… hence the undesirable sequelae…. What ya think about painting the entire tank black?? ….
@kuehnel168 ай бұрын
Maybe a little insulation in the walls would have helped.

I absolutely love this, so don't think it's a criticism - but do you ever get splinters using this place?😁

Two questions , why didn’t you build an outhouse , give more room with in the cabin, and would it not make sense to treat all the wood back and front before hanging it, to get a longer life out of it, it all may treated but as you see some of the cracks and dents may let moisture in. I live in Ireland where in rains about 300 days a year, so that’s what I am doing. I no expert , but trying to learn from watching you guys?

Don't you think you should have put some kind of insulation in the walls? Especially the outer walls?

24" spacing on external essential 2x2 studs seems wildly insufficient. Maybe good for a shed but that's a lot of faith for a space you're presumably going to spend nights in

Great video of a father and son project that will eventually become a memory video to watch inches future. I wish I would've done something like that with my father before he passed. We were from upstate N.Y. as well, Queensbury area and hunted West Mountain. This video made me smile with regret if that makes sense. Thank you for bringing out the memories I have.
