What they need to do is make a few homes that are I. The 300k and up range on this kind of acreage……. It would sell like hot cakes!!!! Shit I’d sell my home right now that it’s payed off and move to Lubbock I just don’t want my neighbor so close to me. Seems nowadays you got to pay more than 500k just for some sort of land ……… insane!

I lived there in the 70s and 80s.... nothing but wind, dirt and cotton fields. I lived on 92nd st, that area was brand new back then

If you like to eat.......We have plenty of Restaurants to eat at. We have movies but not much else to do! Coming from a Born and Raised person 54 years. Plethora of churches!! We are in the Bible Belt but we just recently got alcohol inside the city. No more strip!! It still freaks me out to see alcohol sold at the grocery store. There it is......A church on 1 corner and a cold beer across the street!! Go to love it!!

I was just visiting there from Austin........I want to live there. No traffic........compared to Austin. They were worried about a streak of 100 degrees day going past 12. Austin was in a 100 degree streak since June with humidity. Also as far as daily life goes you don't lose much if anything. It does snow there though.

It varies every year but you can expect around 4-8 inches on average! Some years very little and some years we have a few good snow storms!

Lubbock summed up. Bad drivers (chance to die in a wreck high), high crime rate for such a low population, loser wannabe artist play here unlike austin (bunch of nobodies), terrible restaurants compared to bigger cities, cost of houses the same as dallas and houston (so you are dumb to live here), and lastly texas tech (the suck after mahomes left)

I,m glad this video is on the internet. We’re just fine with anyone not moving to Lubbock. We love our city, it’s clean, modern, has great medical facilities, a great university, and the most friendly people in the state. We think we are lucky to live in Lubbock. Believe me we are happy for you not to move here. Austin may be a better choice for you.
