I love wearing white, too, true white, not ivory or cream. I have more white items in my wardrobe than any other color. It’s hard to find winter items in white. Warm fabrics like cashmere and wool and also silk (the protein fibers) can’t be chlorine-bleached, so they tend to be more ivory-hued. It’s not easy to find true-white items here in the US, except for basic shirts and tees and summer dresses. The fashion powers that be think we don’t want white, they couldn’t be more wrong. Also, it’s so frustrating when I order an item that looks white in the images, is called white, and turns out to be ivory. I’ll wear ivory in some winter-fabric items, but it really doesn’t suit my cool-toned coloring nearly as well as white. Thanks, Christine, you always show us beautiful, high-qualities items.❤

I am not a fan of Zara. That linen trouser and full sleeve is good. That Cos blazer looks a bit weird. It may suit women with bigger butt! Nice. One should dress appropriately according to the season, work place and not to create awkward and unpleasant atmosphere. When I was in research, people would wear casuals like jeans, cotton Ts, bermuda shorts. Professors would wear pants and full or half sleeve shirts. I had worn RL and other brands shorts but that hit at knee level, slightly wide and cotton or linens. Those days most women and men looked more aged for their actual age and most were out of shape. So, probably never wore sleeves. On top of that, men dictated how women should dress, behave blah blah blah. We are no longer living in those time periods. As long as it is decent, not provocative, clean dressed, I am fine. Even if a woman covers herself from head to toe, a man can still fantasize her!

I agree with these, but I wouldn’t wear the open-back black dress, either. Plus, your bra straps show in that one. I think toes should be covered, if not heels, so no sandals - your slingbacks are better. I wouldn’t wear 100% line, either. I only wore a line dress to the office once, but regretted it, everyone stared at the wrinkles. I do wear linen all other summer days now that I’m retired, my summer wardrobe is all 100% linen. I worked my whole career in a conservative corporate office. We didn’t ever wear sleeveless in those days, but it seems women do now. The one thing I wouldn’t ever wear to a workplace is anything that shows any cleavage, any cleavage at all. But, I won’t ever show any cleavage except a tiny bit in a swimsuit, if I must. Even for swimsuits, I look for the most modest-neckline styles I can find. I like open, not high necklines, but being petite, nearly every open-neckline top or dress, like a V-neck, is too low-cut for me. Some brands just never work for me for this reason. I have a new white swimsuit on order, it has a modest square neck and decent rear coverage. I hate those really high-cut legs on swimsuits, too. I had to suffer those last time they trended 30-40 years ago, not again!

Hi Christine, Guten Tag! I love all of them. The last one is beautiful. You should get it in your size. Is it easy to alter clothing there? Here its difficult to find and they charge more. I do know sewing. I can zlter and sew simple like a skirt without the zipper or pocket😉. I need to spend time to learn to attach zipper, pockets like that. Thank you for explaining the meaning behind tying the bow. I have dresses, gowns that comes with the bow. I always tie on the left without knowing the meaning. I have noticed people here tying at the center or on the right. Thanks for sharing.

For Greek pronunciation, the I is like English EE and those terminal Es are always sounded, the same sound as a single I or E (usually, although the short E as in get is also used sometimes, replacing the ancient OE, as it Oedipus. So, Savapile is Sah-Vah-PEE-lee. Also, FYI, the Gs are never pronounced as Js, so can be a hard G as in got, or a Y vowel sound as in You. C (really K) is always pronounced as K, never S. In general, Greek and Latin (and the Romance languages derived from it) don’t have the silent letters that are so prevalent in English, nor irrational spelling.

Thanks so much for mentioning these Greek clothing brands. I’m Greek-American and want to look for made-in-Greece brands to support my “second country”. I haven’t had much luck with Internet searches, or Amazon for made-in-Greece products. I also want to buy a Greek-made national Greek flag, but couldn’t find a single one, yet. I want to put the flag out on Greek Independence day, along with my US one. I haven’t been to Greece since I was a child and I long to return. I won’t go in high-summer, though, as most Northern Europeans do to bask in the sun and heat, because my California climate is also a Mediterranean one and we get almost five months a year here of hot summer weather. I agree, it’s too hot to cover up at those high temps, but be sure to wear high-SPF sunscreen daily to protect your beautiful skin! When you’re my age, 64, you’ll be so happy you did, I know I am. I’m often told my skin looks 15-20 years younger than my age and with your lighter coloring (my skin is as light as yours, but my eyes are hazel and my hair/brows/lashes are light brown to dark blonde, so I have more melanin), you need even more sun protection. Only wear Polaroid sunglasses, the tinted-inly ones aren’t protective, and a broad-brimmed hat, too. Nice video, thank you❤

Great review. I have this bag and can attest to how light it is. Like you’ve said, this is a top plus to the not so small (although called ‚small’) leather bag. I’ve found the muted brown colour not clashing with outfit’s shades. Also, if needed, let’s say at the airport, you can wear it cross body & the strap is not going to dig into you shoulder as it is comfortably wide. Also, very durable leather. xoxo
