What’s the map music for this world?

0:33 - I believe the creator changed the music to simplify the level. Yeah, I definitely preferred the Maple Treeway music over the rather generic SMW Overworld music as it better suited the level. Not exactly sure why it was changed, though. 😐 World -5 is where the difficulty really starts to ramp up. -5-2 is probably the longest autoscroller in any Mario Forever game, probably even longer than P-4 from The Letter Worlds series. Bowser is pretty unforgiving in this world too. I love how World -5 is split into two different parts. World 8 from NSMB had a similar premise where after beating the castle in the first half of the world, a bridge appears revealing the second half. I love how this would also features a miniboss. Definitely makes the gameplay more unique instead of just fighting Bowser over and over again.

0:28 - That music comes from Super Mario 64, not Super Mario Galaxy. I assume you’ve ran into copyright issues on -4-3 as the audio is broken. The music that plays in -4-4 comes from a Mario ROM hack called Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, it usually plays in the tower levels.

Did you know that the end of -3-1 resembles the end of 3-1 from the original Super Mario Bros? With that being said, this is a nice world, but holy crap does the difficulty curve get steep in -3-3. The Cheep Cheeps are almost impossible to avoid due to their unpredictable nature, you must have good reflexes in order to pass that level. -3-4 on the other hand is a breeze to play through, I love the background in that level too.

World -2 is one of my favourite worlds in The Minus Worlds series, mainly because of the choice of soundtracks, but I also admire how unique the levels are. -2-2 and -2-5 are my favourite levels in this world.

Awesome video! I’ve noticed that Crist is the best creator when it comes to designing levels, since the difficulty balance is fair and there’s plenty of question mark blocks containing power-ups in each level. This difficulty does increase when you reach -1-4, but it’s still tolerable for the most part. By the way, I’m a new subscriber.

World -3: Nightime sea

I love how Can't Sleep made any original Mario Forever worlds into The Lost Map styles with music that makes it look like Lost Map.

Is this the lowest of all the underworlds? I saw the pipes and it looks like the Underhell pipe leads down the most.

For the trivia, this game is unnamed, and it barely follows Banesoft's footsteps. I couldn't come up with a proper name so I gave it the "Mario Minix" title GFX. Plus, the "Atelier Echec" you are got used to is nothing more than a quick folder naming for the purpose it actually served. This is a university project. This project's theme was "Failure". "Atelier Echec" roughly refers to that. It means "Failure Workshop". The aim of the game is getting the highest score but by losing in specific ways, hence the achievements. However the "failure" concept goes beyond that. I used time restraints at my advantage by purposely not fixing the numerous glitches that roam the game. It makes it a failed game, with failed level design, traps that fail to trap because of their grotesque nature. A product that fails to fail, even. Truly deeper meaning than you might were all anticipating, ain't it ? Need translations for the achievements ? Here they are, listed : - This is not an ordinary bonus : It hurts ! - Poisonous Mushroom : They are meant to make you stronger, but not that one ! - Surprise ! Crunch !! : Those carnivorous plants were probably not there for decoration ... - Be wary of shortcuts ! : They are not necessarily safe ! - Hey, have you read the sign at least ? : They are not there for decoration ! - Point of no return : Error -> Lost progress. - Oh no ! : Those spiky objects were not actually floating after all ?! - Old age has caught up with you : Time flew by, and you didn't see it coming. - Be careful, still ! : Use your powers with parcimony, otherwise they can kill you, as you could just witness yourself ! - It's the end of everything : That's the end of the level, so is your life. My apologies, but it has not truly ended. - Pure sadism : Dammit, how many times have I failed on that area ?? That level is so hard !!! - Master of self-destruct : At least 30 lost lives ... But 1 earned "Game Over" !

There's a mistake title in this video, It was World 4 as title when it was supposed to be World 3.
