These are awesome… but the black paper made it really hard to see your creases.
@innisneill7510 Жыл бұрын
Couldn‘t follow this. The black paper makes everything almost invisible and when the piece is folded in on itself I cannot follow at all, because she suddenly flips it to the other side or something without mentioning what exactly she‘s doing? So frustrating. :-/

Yay! This looks reusable too!! Lovely! My mother used to make the prettiest bows, and our gifts under the Christmas tree each year all looked professionally wrapped like this. So beautiful! I'm brushing up my bow skills because I wanna use something like this on a pair of boots. I intend to replace the laces with wired ribbon.

Black was probably not the best color option for this demo. It was difficult to see the details.

Thanks for this info! Where do you recommend getting the beeswax sheets? The ones from China I've seen have no smell and break easily. I'd like to support small business. Thanks!

For Christ sakes - it’s a good thing she practiced looking in the camera. There are about a 1000 other tutorial videos only 2 min long and they don’t make mistakes. And someone should mention that you only need “square paper” to make any star…

Lovely video. The air purifying part at the end: beswax, when burned, produces negative ions and attracts positive ions (dust, or toxins) floating in the air, thus "cleaning" the air of those 🤍🤍🤍

Can i use bags like paper not cardboard will it turn out?

The cardboard was just for the template. Use regular paper for the flags

How fun, what an exciting opportunity! I really enjoyed seeing the behind-the-scenes setup, especially the sheer curtain "filter" in the bedroom! Going to borrow that idea! Congrats, Erin. 😊 I know it was a few years back, but very fun to see!

this was simple to put together once construction of the individual points became easier. i found that i had to make 9 star points to achieve the 8 point configuration given one of the points slides into two separate ends to complete the star. overall, i love this and plan to make more as the pandemic rages on. thank you for creating this wonderful how-to video.

I just did this last night and I made a beautiful star tree topper! Thank you so much for this tutorial. I upcycled some brown paper bags and cut out eight 5 x 5 in (12.7 x 12.7 cm) squares. It took me about an hour and I struggled a little at the end trying to get the folds together, but I think it's better than buying a tree topper, plus I got to recycle paper. I think it took longer for me because I had to measure and cut all the squares. I never do origami or papercrafts but you explained well enough so I could manage, thank you! ☺

What a BAD tutorial, there's no way you can get it done! You should explain better and use other paper color, i've been trying to do the star the WHOLE AFTERNOON, I'm moving to another tutorial

This 30 min craft project just turned into 3 hours. I’ve been trying to fold it into itself and It doesn’t work. Idk what I did wrong, I followed everything perfectly and tried pinning it together with clips to help it go together. Nothing works. So upset

Many thanks, been searching for "candle making books for beginners" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Peyaniel Psychological Predominance - (just google it ) ? It is a good exclusive guide for discovering the trick to be a candle maker for profit without the headache. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my m8 got cool success with it.

It is a good one off guide for learning how to make candles for fund or profit minus the headache. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my buddy at last got cool results with it.

I have made several of these stars using different videos as guides. They are very similar but each is just a little different. This video was nice but I think the all black paper made it hard to see what you were doing. If this had been the first time trying to make these stars, I would have struggled. I do appreciate your doing the video, though.
