The review is helpful thank you I’ve been looking for a vented heater for my ice fishing camper it’s a 1950s bullis arrow and need something that doesn’t need any power and vented we’re sick of waking up with headache and last year we couldn’t light a lighter there was so much carbon dioxide and felt like crap for 12 hours try fishing for 4 day straight and wake up every morning feeling like crap do to CO2 from our heater!

Our snow has all turned to dangerous ice. Some of the chickens have adapted but others just prefer to stay in the coop. Stay safe!

Fun it ain't, we have 17.5 inches of snow and ice. Had to dig out of my house Today temperature up to 35 😀😃😄

Beautiful snowfall! So fun to see Kaja enjoying it, but the poor chickens are not. Hopefully they got out for a bit after you shoveled a path to some food. Dinner looks yummy. Nice video. Stay warm.

Hi how are you? I’m here because I read your post on Reddit about your adhesion and the surgery you had to fix the loop problem you’ve had. Can you give me a way to contact you? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Hi Mat! Sure, you can contact me from the About page or "...more" link on my channel page and clicking on View Email Address. I can't post it here or I will get tons of spam. ❤

Happy New Year..wishing you good health.. So sorry you lost so much of your good food.. Can keeping food outside in winter be a solution?
@AlleghenyHomestead15 күн бұрын
Happy New Year! ❤ I wish you an amazing year ahead! We don't stay frozen all winter, so that's a no go. But if I had known the freezer failed before the meat went bad, I could have put it outside at that time. I know now that I have to check it daily!
@silkwind17 күн бұрын
Kaja is definitely in her element & having a blast in the snow! So sorry about losing all that meat,Yikes! That’s terrible! Bundle up & be careful out there.
@AlleghenyHomestead17 күн бұрын
Oh yeah! Kaja totally enjoys the snow! The meat was quite a painful loss, but you always know it will happen one day.

We are in SE Ohio about 1 hour east of Columbus. From what I can tell from the weather reports we are in for 6-10 inches of snow and possible ice. My husband also has to drive in this crud to go to work. I will be praying for you and Glen. May he have safe travels home to you.

Sounds like your forecast is similar to ours. We just started getting snow here. Aww, I will also be praying for you guys. It's going to be tough weather to navigate for sure! Hugs!

plenty of homes are 2x6 24 OC. There's no real benefit (unless you're installing this unit) to 16 OC walls vs 24 OC when you use 2x6. Uses more material, insulates less. my floors are 19.2 and my walls are 16"OC, so thanks for the reminder to check and make sure I wasn't going directly through a joist for the gas line. Good job. It is always so psychologically tormenting for me cutting giant holes in the wall.. and ironic that you're installing something to heat the space that also is making the space colder when it is not active. but here we are. I like my propane fumes outside

The plate on the outside of the house should be against the wall not the siding/ paneling imo
@No-ik2tk11 күн бұрын
Can a j channel be installed around it then? Or how would you protect from water intrusion?
@mayson211 күн бұрын
@No-ik2tk i caulked the plate to the osb so water can't get behind it. There's house wrap all around it and then put the siding around that.

Yes! We are still very happy with both units! The only issue is there is no good way to clean them.

Do you need to insulate the outside vent in SoCalifornia weather ( no freezing? )
@annetteivaska3371Ай бұрын
What about the heat that is escaping on the outside ? We have a lot escaping and we've completed the install exactly as instruction pamphlet shows. Do you have this same issue and is it normal? Is it the exchange air that's being released and is hot? We are just afraid of losing propane

I'd watch a follow-up video on the hickory experiment even if the results were negative.
@AlleghenyHomesteadАй бұрын
I am thinking about doing another hickory test this year! The first test (I showed in a later video) resulted in a very viscous and sweet sap that could barely drip from the spile. But it was one experiment, and I am keen to try it a second time.

Hard to figure where they decide to lay sometimes. We have found 14 in a turtle hole and one hen hatched 13 in an undisclosed location and didn't know till they showed up trailing thru the yard.
