It's weird msfs 2024 when it runs it runs well better than msfs 2020 but that's when it runs

I like it and for a bit i wanted one. Base is £250 and moza FFB is £550. It's too hard to pass on ffb for £300 more. They really needed this to be too good to refuse, price wise.

Hi Man as always amazing content! Been following since the beginning! One question, ive seen i have encountered the same error as you when you can see on the stats on the right of the screen that the GPU stats say for example 250ms in purple. Frames drop like crazy 7-10fps and then after a while it comes back... have you figured out the issue?

Will the performance improve overtime? In 2020 I was achieving stable 60 fps, now in 2024 it's barely 40

I asked for a refund. My time is limited to MSFS and MSFS 2020 is perfect for what I need it for. The MSFS 2024 environment is Tense, people are nasty to one another, talking down developers and just being ugly as sin itself. I stepped away from 2024 and will return back in January. This will give Jorg and Sebastian time to work with the teams to correct the most important situations in the sim and give time for developers to sink their teeth in 3rd party Intergrations. Xbox refunded immediately opposed to the 5-7 business days, so I am sure they are aware of what's going in. It seems silly to refund, however I do not want to open the app and play the game of update after update, fix after fix. I would rather just buy the game, and have it update during the initial download so I can actually play the game for what it was intended to do.

My MSFS 2024 seems to be using the same Community Folder as my MSFS 2020 install? But none of the planes that are in my community folder, appear in the sim. I don't think any scenery is in my FS 2024 sim either.

I'm in 2020 and that's where I'm staying. This release is almost making Aerosoft's A330 look like a winner. Job Neumann will be gone inside six months and the future of ASOBO must be tenuous.

3rd party aircrafts created in FS2020, that's the reason I haven't got plans switching platform. I'm happy with FS2020, everything looks great, controllers work, it's just very enjoyable :)

Had about 650 Gb of community aircraft, created a new community folder on a SSD dedicated to MSFS 2020. Defaulting to the system drive to load data is a very poor practice. The whole collection shows up in my library now. Will they update? Hope so. Just started testing the models, so far it's good, and the helicopters are much better with throttle sensitivity much better allowing for easy hovering, the 2020 versions are so sensitive that power was practically on or off.

i completely agree with you on those make or break aircraft. i’m adding the a2a comanche and the black square tbm850 to that list too though. they all work before i switch.

I flew the default 172 yesterday and it was a great experience. It handled very nicely on the ground. All the airport signs were accurately placed and helped me navigate the field. When I took off, I immediately felt how dynamic the flight model was. Turbulence effects were awesome, too. My viewpoint was reacting to them, making it that much more immersive. The lighting looked natural and not oversaturated at all. The approach was challenging in a good way and I loved how I had to fly the plane all the way to touchdown. I didn't have any issues with servers either. All in all, I loved my flight. Oh, I forgot to mention - it was in XP12 ;)

I played on Xbox last night. Everything was smooth,including the photogrammetry flight over Edinburgh. My Internet speed is only 50mbs. I still have FS2020 installed as a backup.

How did you manage to get the A32NX running? I started Cold n Dark, setup the airplane, then tried to start the engines. It took about 20 minutes to reach 15% N1 then the engines suddenly gave up.

I will never complain about X-Plane again. A local download is superior to cloud streaming, you might as well not even own the game if it’s on the cloud

Pmdg are saying cross overs for their aircraft could take many weeks if ever I'm staying with 2020 for at least 6 months if not longer

I was not disappointed, I knew this would happen and there would be issues at launch, I was expecting it to get better with in about a months time and it would be a while before I switched sims.

Airports bought on the Marketplace don t work on the new sim. They don t go in the community folder. And they don t even work in the folder they should go into.

Stick to MSFS2020, at least you would have enjoyable content worth watching. NOT YOUR FAULTY, did they release the alpha? We ALL know what PPL means in MSFS 2024 PI55 POOR LAUGHABLE..

It works for me, more or less, some bugs, some slow loading but I always get it, let see

Best decision to make is return Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 for a refund and save yourself a boatload of frustration.

None of the surprises me. A project this complex is bound to have issues in the beginning. I’m holding off for a few weeks to give them time to work through these kinks and get things stable. I work for a company that produces enterprise class software that has a lot of moving pieces… We test as much as we possibly can, but there is no test like the test that it gets when it finally gets in the customer’s hands.

Is it a bird or a plane ? No its a game !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Yes welcome to MSFS 2024 complete with its "Veilguard" character creation screen. Just what the MSFS community wanted , really ???!!!.. Joking aside its not a good launch. Snappy UI, nice vegetation, good flight planning etc. But the data and textures are streamed. Coming into the cockpit of an Asobo airliner and textures in some areas are blurred, then they pop into sharpness. (and yes I have fast internet), then along my flight I see ground textures blurry then, a slight delay as they pop in. Obviously server bottlenecking. Not impressed so far. I will go back to MSFS 2020 then re-visit MSFS 2024 in 2025 !!. Big annoyance is my scores of hardware settings no longer appear in MSFS 2024, even though it recognizes my MSFS 2020 profile. Its a joke. Yes as someone commented below too many people are forgiving.huh ! I expect the content creators are peeved but silent as they cant showcase anything. !!. after endless crashes and server issues. Yes, i was able to add some of my previous airport addons as a sample from MSFS 2020, after finding the new location of the MSFS 2024 Community folder. Some airports work ok, but I noticed that there appeared to be blurry areas that "pop" into view. Just an annoying experience overall. Yes streamed AI. Not good and not good for those with a poor internet connection. Thats the whole issue with this reliance on streamed Ai. Its bound to fail in some areas.

Thanks for a very nice video for us haven't gotten 2024 yet. For me VATSIM is the big thing with the flight sims so my idea was to stick with 2020 until I was sure I can have as good experience in 2024 as I'm having in 2020, and it sounds like that was a good shout...!

They should have called this game Fligth Simulator 2025 and let the third party developper the time to make sure their addons are compatible before releasing the game.... But the marketing department of M$ probably said no!......
