I love ALL of the Seasons of the Witch oracles. They’re just lovely to look at and great for some mindful oracle practices I find
@everonward.

right?! they’re useful even though they come off as potentially too specific. if you don’t mind sharing, what practices do you use them for?
@rosco-m
@rosco-m 5 күн бұрын
@@everonward. Different things really depending on how I’m vibing that day. I think they’re great for helping to transition into different seasonal energies - I will just pull the deck for the new season and sit with a cup of tea and slowly look through the deck, absorbing and enjoying the images and message - that feels like it helps to recalibrate me. I will use them in daily card pulls as a foundation message for a reading and then expand using tarot to see how I can further tap into the energies of the card. I’ll use them for nurturing pulls to see what I can benefit from more in that season. And I’ll also use the decks intentionally sometimes for manifestation or intention-setting - looking through each card and mindfully choosing one that I want to harness and placing it on display for reflection and intentions each day. I also occasionally like to use the rituals in the guidebook. Hope that gives a bit of inspiration

Also, although they are somewhat specific I do think that any of the decks can be used year round. Sometimes we just need some Samhain vibes even during Litha 😂

First of all, I love your Hilma af Klint tapestry! Second I am glad that the Haindl tarot is getting some love. It seems that recently tarot tubers were appreciating older decks. There had been a resurgence of decks like The Aquarian and Morgan Greer. During that Renaissance I never saw anybody showing some love to the Haindl. I am glad you love it. I only have a couple of the decks that you do. I think in a way it is detrimental To have so many decks out there now. There is such and onslaught that too many decks get overlooked and too many get set aside in a minute so we can look at the new ones coming out. It was lovely to see you have very thoughtful comments about your decks. The side commentary was delightful. You just got a new subscriber.

thank you so much, i'm glad you're here 🌸 absolutely, the haindl was love at first sight! i want to do more videos with it but its such an investment deck - it requires a lot in my personal time, not to mention when coming onscreen haha. and yes, i tend to agree, i think there is an oversaturation of decks now, it's hard to find alignment when there's so much coming out one after another - not to mention cultivate deep connection. don't get me wrong, i value the beauty and creativity that we get from people who wouldn't have otherwise made decks in the past, but it's a rough thing to have just this many. thank you for sharing! again, glad to have you 🌿🖤

Great video! I have never seen the dust to onyx tarot before. It’s stunning! It is now on my wish list. I have kind of an odd request… I am very much of a tea person just like it seems you are. But I make my tea one cup at a time in a pretty traditional manner, whereas it seems like you do it in small little 2 ounce cups. I’m very curious about your tea making process. If you ever have any interest in showing that in one of your videos, I personally would love to see it.

I have the Lua Tarot but have a hard time using it because I haven't found its purpose and I like pairing tarot with Oracle and haven't found a good pairing yet. Do you have one? How and when do you use it?
@everonward.
@everonward. 23 күн бұрын
ooh great question - honestly i haven’t found a visual match that excites me. it’s just one of those decks that gets paired based on energy and content of the reading, otherwise i use it alone. the ones i have tried and enjoyed are my trimmed borderless thoth and the reclaim oracle. i can’t think of any other standouts in this moment. i’ve used it for a lot, i think it’s suited for a large scope of topics bc of the RWS foundation. i’ve enjoyed a lot of conversational readings as opposed to spreads. i like talking through a situation with the deck like i would a friend (its always felt like a friend to me). so i chat and ask questions as i get responses. with the reclaim oracle, i found it to be really honest and loving, helping me through some tough relationships and emotions. because i’ve seen my family in it, i’ve used it for ancestor and family readings, as well as work and creativity. i tend to associate it with the heart chakra - i called my heart deck for a while (as compared to a soul deck). i wonder if you’ve done a deck interview with it? that usually helps me gauge my personal relationship with a deck, or at least get a starting point to figuring a deck out. if i struggle with that, i also like to write down words and connections i have within the deck, that helps me to gather my feelings and see if there’s a common thread or theme that emerges. 🩵🩵 i hope that helps! let me know if you have any more questions!

You are so right about the energy of the Ritual Tarot. It's been my experience too that the energy is too big to use it for "just anything". It genuinely feels like it doesn't WANT to be. The 10 of swords is also stalking me all the time! I see it as a card of ego death, pushing the reset button on your identity. When I pull it, I see it as me achieving a new stage in my healing journey or I discover a new layer to my personality that would only happen if I let go of preconceived conceptions of myself.

I cannot believe I missed this video two weeks ago. I am slipping. It was so great to see you open up in an intimate way here. I feel like I’m getting to know you better. I am turning 60 in 3 days, and I want to do a birthday card pull. The Margarete Peterson may be the Perfect deck to do that with. What a great card you pulled last year. I instantly thought “you fill your own cup” as the vessel and the content. How beautiful! I am not a tea snob, but I am a wine snob. I loved when you said “it tasted like basement”, because I use a lot of those types of words when I drink wine…“basement”, “damp earth”, “ Wet newspaper”, and so many others. For me, the 5 of wands is all about navigating internal conflict. When I pull that card, I think to myself, I don’t have enough information yet to navigate a particular struggle so I need to seek out more information. So for me it aligns with your word “navigation” perfectly. LOVE the look of your mosaic Oracle! LOVE your videos!

first of all, happy birthday to you! 🌹🧡 though i’m a day or two late now! i’m so glad you enjoyed the video - your thoughts and responses are so lovely. i love that interpretation of vessel and content - that felt special. ooh not a wine snob but i am a big fan of it! i’d love to immerse myself in it one day. fermentation can give such specific and interesting tasting notes. usually an acquired taste lol. the way you approach the five of wands is so cool. i especially like that prompt to seek more information. SEEK. beautifully connected to navigation. i love that. seeking is such a great action for the suits of wands and internal conflict - then we have realization that comes with or moves us into the six! i hope your birthday was special and what you decided in terms of tarot was enriching, fortifying, resonant, ALL the things 💝✨thank you for your beautiful responses. 🤗

I have the Oracle d'OR I like it but I need to work with it more. I still feel scared in the dark however, if I had to be in a minimalist black house vs a minimalist white house for a week for instance I think I would pick the black house. The black house looks a little haunting, "creepy" and it's holding a secret however with a white house it feels sterile, nothingness, stagnant, foreign, psychological thriller, like one of those never-ending optical illusions of a house or something. I am debating on getting the Oracle of Initiation, if I do I might have to trim the title border off and write on the back the name of the card because the solid color pulls me out of the artwork. I enjoyed this video.
@everonward.

oooooh what a cool way of processing that fear! i love that! and i toally agree, the white would be so disconcerting, so disquieting. now that i'm saying it, i'd wanna try it just to see what i would get out of that experience lol. nothingness and neverendingness are so terrifying. i hear you with the oracle of initiation, i definitely wish i had the tarot size -- i also prefer it without the borders. but i got my copy second hand and i scooped it for such a good price i couldn't resist. have you considered the tarot size? or do you prefer a larger edition? i'm so glad you enjoyed. i appreciate you being here, always love reading your responses 🖤

@@everonward.Hi, sorry YT didn't notify me of your reply but yeah, I would like to try it out as well. I feel like if it took place during the day the white house would have more of a psychological effect but at night it might have a comforting effect? Since the light of the moon will help make the walls "glow" and make it easier to maneuver around..almost like a flash light/night light. But the opposite would happen where at night it would be more psychological but during the day it would be easier. This would make an interesting movie. I'm not sure actually on which size I would get.

🌻🌼 When you said that you use the Hayworth tarot when you are reading the house of leaves, what do you mean by that? Do you form questions from reading the book, then do a tarot reading? Maybe you said it and I just missed it. I have had that deck for about a year, but I don’t work with it much. I wish I knew more about the radio show that it’s based on from the 50s. My other “dark” deck is the Necronomicon tarot by HP Lovecraft. The guidebook says the deck is “designed to help you face your deepest fears”. It is a dark deck for sure. I am currently doing a deep dive study of the alchemical visions tarot. I get a lot of additional depth of meaning from the guidebook even though you are right that it is not very divinatory based. But I love digging into other aspects of cards, so I’m good with it at this point. Plus I LOVE huge cards for some reason 😂 Have you heard of the isolation tarot? It is one of the weirdest decks I’ve ever seen, but I absolutely love it! I am now in love with the Oracle of initiation! Not heard of it before. It is a bit out of my price range, but it is now on my list. Your videos are the best! I learn so much from you.
@everonward.
@everonward. 2 ай бұрын
ooh good question, you didn't miss! what i do with the house of leaves is pretty much as you said. i will ask questions based on what i'm reading. i originally started reading the book in response to a recurring dream i was having - the themes of the book felt in line with the energy of the dream so i thought it could give me some insight (i talk a bit about it in my video on pairing my reads if you want to check that out). so as i'm reading i'll pull cards based on a particular passage as it relates to my dream, or what might happen next, exploring interesting concepts, whatever sparks my interest. i will even pull cards when i come back into the book or leave it, as a way of gauging and setting the energy. it's very fluid. i'm STILL reading the book actually lol i'm really taking my time with it. at the end i want to lay out all the cards i received and see if there's a narrative for me in there.
@everonward.

yes, the necronomicon looks really cool! i love that for a mission of a deck. also i love the art style and the images are really evocative. oooh a deep dive into alchemical visions? i'm so curious about that. i would love to do a deep dive at some point, there is so much information in there! i agree, the large cards are quite amazing and i can still riffle and bridge them from the side which is *chefs kiss* 🙌🏽 i haven't heard of the isolation tarot! let me look now....oooh pretty cool, i'd love to see a walkthrough of it - couldn't find one anywhere! yea the oracle of initiation is up there in price. but totally worth it imo. the book is a must. i'm so glad you enjoyed! i appreciate your presence and chatting with you 🖤🖤

@@everonward.Lennan Smith posted a video a few days ago called “funky deck vibes“ where she did a walk-through of the isolation tarot. That’s how I found out about it. And Thank you for sharing details about how you pull cards as you’re reading a book. That is such a cool concept. I am going to try it. And I will definitely go back and check out your previous video where you talk more about it. I’m reading a book right now that’s very interesting and kind of weird called “near to the wild heart” by Clarice Lispector. This could be the perfect book to try your method of pulling cards. Today, I read a sentence in this book that I had to read over and over because it really captivated me. It said, “even pleasure doesn’t give me as much pleasure as being evil,” I loved that!
