Ok. I loved this. I, too, love pairing books and decks. Its such a cool practice. Women who Run with the Wolves is a BIBLE, for real! Like we need to "bible study' that thing. 😅 Clarice Lispector is so bada$$ and heady just like you said! 😮 32:37 when you read this passage, it low-key reminded me of that 8 of Birth card you showed from Baba Yaga's Soup! 🤎🍲 House of Leaves has been on my TBR but Im kinda scared to start it... 😬🫨 Also, your pairings are always so spot on. ❤❤❤

yes, agreed! i’m part of a group that’s been going through it most of the year! it’s soo much richer in community. ⚡️ omg you’re so observant, i totally missed that connection! i just went back to see and wow, blew my mind! 💥might have to journal about that one. i wish i could say more about house of leaves, i’ve taken a break from it but so far it’s definitely worth the read! omg thanks! honestly that means a lot to know the pairings are hitting for you! 🩵🩵

6:12 this book is on my wishlist. 17:30 non fiction.... do you think its easier to pair tarot with non fiction? Im currently working on pairings with the fiction im reading lol. 23:55 ooo yes i can see inner world in this deck. 37:41 oh wow! I would struggle to read this with tiny words lol But looks beat. - ooh yes! its a deep one and for most folks it can take months or years. most people i know who've read it feel it's a great life companion. - i think when it comes to actively working with the cards, yes, i find nonfiction easier because i use it for exploring spiritual/emotional/relational concepts that come up, allowing me to do personal work in those areas. i feel like that's more straightforward with nonfiction, whether it be like WWRWW or prose poetry. but you can also explore themes, character arcs, tropes, and archetypes in fiction, i just don't have as much experience with that. if you’re open to sharing, i’m curious what you’re reading and how you’re pairing them? - yea the inner world in the lonely dreamer is so lush! - yes i'm definitely considering an update/review on how things go, glad to hear there's interest. it would definitely be a while bc as you can see, i tend to read many books at once, which extends how long it takes me to complete them lol thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!! 🌸🩷

@stonefruitfaerie I'm open to share. I did a couple videos on it. I'm doing gothlitnovember and adding Gothic type decks to them somehow lol. I'm reading some Gothic romance. I read slower than most people so I only chose 2 books for the challenge. Lol
