You are a beautiful soul Tori Bowie. I pray that good is coming to you on the other side. You inspired many people during your short life, including me. So good to see you finally win an individual global 100m gold medal. Your physical beauty and smile spreads happiness everywhere. I am sending love and light to you wherever you are beautiful angel.

Under a biomechanic point of view, Asafa Powell is the best starter I can find on the globe, Gatlin has good block pushes (explosiveness) and very good angles so even good ground contact times. Coleman has insane ankle stifness and rection times, almost makes him look like his ankles are injured…😂 Bromell and Gay make some mistakes which I consider "big" because they are some of the fastest man ever (Gay tied 2nd and Bromell tied 6th). I think all of these sprinters should be as much mechanically "perfect" as *_they_* can be. The best version of themselves. Of course somebody like Gay cannot start like somebody like Coleman, even with God mechanics but Gay could've done better. (ex: his foot ground contact position, ahead of his center of mass)

Gatlin's start at 2:31 was pure perfection. I can't see any way you could even tweak it to make it better.

at the start both arms move back instead of instant seperation in different directions
@brianclymer19589 ай бұрын
What @kushta1044 said ... there's so much slack in that start because he's so off balance forward in his set position. Heck, his feet are 1/2 to 3/4 inch off the blocks before he can even hit/contact them to push himself forward ... because he's so far forward and too low at set. Being that off-balance is why he has to pick his hands and shoulders straight up about 6-8 inches before he can get his body high enough to push it forward. You also see his front shin drop even lower than it was at set during that time, as he tries to organize this mess before he can go forward. I hope there are no kids out there trying to emulate this set position. He is such a beast that he can run fast sometimes despite this pre-block clearance chaos.

Frentorish “Tori “ Bowie was a very young, gifted and beautiful human being that ran track and field with a tenacious fighting spirit that would rival her toughest competition in any world 🌎 class championship event . Tori’s beautiful sweet smile and laugh was so contagious that you couldn’t help but admire her humble down to earth 🌍 presence wherever she traveled in life. They say that neighbors revealed that she was listening to loud music and displaying erratic behavior at times and pelting eggs around the house. I don’t know where was the support of her management and others that supposed to care about her well being to prevent any harm to herself and others during her emotional struggles in life, but if anyone could understand that listening to music , dancing to a song or singing along to your favorite song may have been her way of coping with some emotional stress that she may have been experiencing at the time. In addition, did you also know that eggs in some cultures or beliefs is a universal symbol or associated with new life, birth, fertility, resurrection and the potential for new growth ? Just because we may not understand certain things within a person’s behavior experience or struggles in life doesn’t necessarily mean that that person is displaying erratic behavior or mentally disturbed because another way you can look at her behavior or struggles in life is maybe that she remembered some things about casting lots from her grandmother that she called a role model. This is what you call impartial practice that stops arguments and contentions between people ( and no doubt it could prevent them from occurring in the first place ) in this regard proverbs states, “ casting lots causes contentions to cease, and keeps the mighty apart “ ( proverbs 18:18 ). Bless her beautiful soul. Although, it all seems so surreal because she was so young, beautiful, gifted and so full of life I will remember her like we all should remember her for that reason among the very vast constellations of the brightest stars in the universe … 🤔 ❤️❤️❤️

You said it all! The "QUEEN" of Women's track. I have never seen a runner so talented and humble. She was beautiful inside and out. The world is quick to give thoughts about a person. Queen Tori was a beast on the track and even basketball. There will never ever be another Tori Bowie! This death is a tough one! God gave Tori the natural ability to become an Olympian and she carried it well (humble). Rest on Tori! You will forever be missed!!

Gatlin was so fast but always seemed tense. Could he have relaxed and been even faster?
@Trackreator Жыл бұрын
If your observation is correct, he could've been faster if loose. Running loose is way better than tense even of the start because it allows you to push harder with the legs and feet onto the ground as your upper body (neck, face and shoulder muscles) doesn't require oxygen. Edit: also Blake is tensed with his neck muscles, in fact each time I see him run he has this face expression -> 😬

The US didn’t know what they had in Tori Bowie. She’s the best finisher I’ve seen in the 100m in the past 10 years, and all she needed was better management and training! The girl just turned 32, and she’s beaten all the Jamaicans at least once! What a waste! She should’ve been running at least until 2024!! Unbelievable!!

You said it all. You never appreciate what you have until it's gone. The best 100M, 200M and 4x100 anchor. I remember hearing she use to run with the horses in Sandhill (her hometown). RIP Tori Bowie. You are the CHAMPION!!!
