Yeah considering that there’s literally 5 people around the world playing and we got a top 32 in Oceania and a top 64 in US nationals, I’d say we’ve got better ratios than any other deck👍🏻

That Rebecca is not good then, I’ve been running Betty since 05 and I think I lose 80% of my games against Rebecca, and others in the community agree that it’s an impossible matchup, and they have plenty of early plays in kyros, which is super strong against us

I think it works great in any leader running the rev army package👍🏻

I don’t think Roger is good, you’re supposed to have ended the game by ten don and if not, there are way stronger plays available and if there’s no chance to play him he is such a brick in hand which can be super detrimental

@ last question, do you think beckman or the op05 sabo would also be a good addition for additional removal?

Definitely not Beckman, using 7 don to get rid of something and establish a body that can’t even be boosted is waaay to slow when you can get out like 3 characters instead, Sabo could be argued for just against black since it can ko both Rebecca and brook in one fell swoop even without any reducers, however I think the general consensus is that you’re better off establishing more bodies

You can find competitive lists on both mine and barniekongs channel! And no nobody really plays the 3c event, but it’s not necessarily a bad card, just use it for trigger and dump it for leader effect if you draw it

Naaah, we chilling, we really only struggle against doffy atm, and before then the deck has still been good, people just don’t play it

@hashtagemb yeah but we were countered by sakazuki then rp law and lucci which have all been tier 0 decks that crushed us lol

Sakazuki and law wasn’t that big of a problem tbh, I beat like 4 sakazuki at nats in 05. Same with law, like they win that matchup if they see reiju and blockers, but otherwise it wasn’t that deep

only really bad into dof, and if doffy gets hit and people tech out of blade/wide removal betty gets a free buff

Problem is, they get the same curve no matter, just that they have to take one less life

For sure, but looking at larger tournaments you’re incredibly unlikely to run into Sanji

But if you do… you’re cooked

@@hashtagemb to be honest, I have about 10 games with this deck (Adam's top 64 version); I'm not quite used to it. I'll report my next acomplishments here! ;)

I run three in my current build, the thing is, and I think Adam brought this up, stage can easily cycle stage as well, so even if you see three stage in your starting hand you keep it because they’ll all be gone on turn two anyways

@@hashtagemb when would you prioritize playing 2 1C over playing stage on 1?

If I have 4c ivankov in hand I play double 1c, that way my next turn is very explosive It’s very rare to see two one drops and a stage in your starting hand tho so I wouldn’t worry too much about it, however if you do, it’s generally the best play against doffy for example In general I don’t like playing stage turn one if I have other options, the bodies on board are more important at that time

Law can still bounce himself sadly.

I like to do this as well, however I’ve noticed that a lot of the time the impact it has on your curve can be a little detrimental, where as popping their searcher won’t impact the game so much, they’ll just bounce law back anyways and use it again

Yeah that checks out. The tempo kick to only push back the play one turn would definitely put you in a worse spot

As for nico robin, she’s cool I love playing with her, however she feels just a tiny bit slower than 5c ivankov and 6c koala which are just better in that turn slot As for dragon king, I don’t think that card makes any sense, events don’t really belong in Betty as you’re better off playing a character, and you really shouldn’t be countering out of attacks. 3c Betty is just way too conditional, 2 life or less to draw a card is not good especially when the turn you wanna play her is your 3 don turn, and of course that trigger is awful as well
